Abstract

Abstract

The digital platform is used as an online learning tool and as a medium for providing guidance services. Online tutoring services using digital platforms are not only provided for a fee, providers also provide services for free. Functionally, the utilization of these two services is not much different. Online learning methods and use of platforms were utilized in the 2021 CPNS recruitment which was carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Thorough preparation must be made to face the Basic Competency Selection. SKD is one of the early stages of CPNS selection which has many competitors and fierce competition not only to meet grades passing grade to pass to the next stage but also must have a high score. Learning online with the use of digital platforms from each participant has a different experience. Through a survey that was distributed online, researchers collected 497 data and took a sample of 400 data from 200 participants who passed and 200 participants who did not pass the passing grade. The data was collected to find out how the influence of online learning carried out by participants on passing the SKD passing grade. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis methods and multiple correspondence analysis. From this analysis, based on the data mapping, it was found that there was an effect of learning methods using digital platforms on the participants' passing. Learning method with independent online learning duration of 4 hours/day, paid online tutoring duration of 2 hours/day, following 2 paid online tutoring services, taking online quizzes practice every day, always actively participating in virtual classes, always listening and discussing discussions materials and quizzes, as well as the ease of accessing materials, quiz exercises, face-to-face learning on digital platforms provided by guidance service providers also affect the passing grade of participants. online learning, digital platforms, technology, utilization, tutoring, passing, passing grades, cpns

Abstract

This study evaluates the final project feature on the Academic Portal System of Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) which is divided into 5 sub-features; final project topic registration, final project guidance, logbook, proposal seminar registration, and final project exam registration using Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) and End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) methods. Data were collected from student users through questionnaires using the IPA method which measures aspects of importance and performance, and the EUCS method which measures user satisfaction with a 1-5 Likert scale. The findings using the IPA method show that although the final project guidance sub-feature has a high level of importance (4.42), its performance is still poor (2.43) and falls into quadrant 1, making it a priority for improvement. In more detail using EUCS method, weaknesses were identified in completeness (2.75) in the Content dimension and accuracy of information (2.69) in the Accuracy dimension, as well as IT service support (2.75) across all dimensions. It is concluded from the results of this study that the IPA and EUCS methods are very relevant and worthy of being used to evaluate the final project features on the UAD Academic Portal System by providing accurate and comprehensive results, so that they can provide a complete picture and technical recommendations on user satisfaction and help identify areas that need to be improved

Abstract

Efficient laboratory management is essential to support academic activities at the Islamic University of Indonesia (UII). The Informatics Department Laboratory at UII faces challenges with an unintegrated room booking and inventory system, complicating resource management for administrators and users. This study aims to develop a laboratory information system based on Google Apps Script to facilitate automated room bookings integrated with Google Workspace services such as Google Calendar, Google Spreadsheets, and Google Sites. The research employs the Waterfall model, encompassing requirements analysis, system design, development, and testing. The results demonstrate that the developed system successfully automates the room booking process, provides real-time schedule access, and accelerates the approval process through email notifications. Functional testing confirmed that the system operates according to specifications and meets user needs. The conclusion of this study is that the laboratory information system based on Google Apps Script effectively enhances the efficiency of room booking management in the Informatics Faculty at UII. However, the system has limitations related to dependency on Google services, scalability, and feature flexibility, which require further development.
