Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine student learning outcomes before applying Numbered Head Together, testing the application of Numbered Head Together method to improve student learning outcomes knowing student learning outcomes after using Numbered Head Together, and analyzing the comparison of student learning outcomes between before and after applied cooperative learning methods Numbered Head Together type. The research method used is Class Action Research. The findings of this study that by applying cooperative learning the Numbered Head Together type has a positive influence in improving student learning outcomes which are characterized by an increase in student learning outcomes from Pre-Cycle I with an average value of 83.45 and cycle II an average value of 90.00. Between Cycle I and Cycle II, there was an increase of 7.85%. Based on the research that has been done in Cycle I and Cycle II with cooperative learning Numbered Head Together type have increased. The limitations of this study were only carried out in the Lessons on the Science of Energy-Saving Energy Content of Alternative Energy Materials for Students of Class IVA MIN 1 Yogyakarta and not yet comprehensive. Further research is expected to be carried out in all classes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of parents of elementary school (SD) students towards learning in the new normal era in Melawi Regency. Data collection in this study used an online questionnaire with the Google form application which was given to all parents of elementary school students in Melawi Regency as many as 31 people. This study uses mixed method which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The subjects of this study were 31 people. Data collection techniques used parental perception questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study obtained data that with regard to face-to-face learning in the New Normal era, the majority of parents agreed at 96.8%. While the rest stated disagree as much as 3.2%. Overall, based on parental responses regarding perceptions of the new normal era learning process, its advantages and convenience compared to online learning, it was obtained that an average of 87.1% of parents agreed and 12.9% of parents stated that they did not agree with the consideration that there were still concerns. against the pandemic that occurred, and the implementation of the shift process of learning hours which was felt to be useless because it was too short. In addition, the parents' perception of their participation in children's learning assistance was on average 59.37% in the frequent category, 36.12% in the occasional category, and 4.51% in the never category.

Abstract

Mata kuliah statistika bagi mahasiswa sangat diperlukan terutama ketika harus mengumpulkan, mengolah, menganalisis dan menginterpretasikan data untuk pembuatan skripsi. Mata kuliah statistika merupakan salah satu mata kuliah yang wajib diajarkan hampir di setiap program studi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan dan letak kesalahan pemahaman mahasiswa pada mata kuliah statistika. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dengan metode survei. Dalam penelitian ini, mahasiswa diminta menyelesaikan soal-soal statistika yang berkaitan dengan materi statistika yang sudah dipelajari sebelumnya. Tempat penelitian di Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Melawi. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2025. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 6 dan 8 yangsedang dan telah memrogramkan mata kuliah statistika yang berjumlah 13 orang mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Tingkat kemampuan pemahaman mahasiswa pada mata kuliah statistika berada pada kategori tinggi yaitu 63,8%; (2) Dari seluruh sampel, yang menjawab soal dengan benar adalah sebesar 63,8%, yang menjawab salah sebesar 36,2%. Dari hasil tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa presentase mahasiswa yang menjawab benar lebih besar daripada yang menjawab salah. (3) Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan menjawab soal-soal statistika terjadi karena mahasiswa mempunyai masalah pada tahap pembacaan soal, pemahaman, transformasi, keterampilan proses dan pada pemilihan jawaban yang tepat.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to determine the effect of the Jigsaw cooperative learning model on the mathematical communication skills of third-grade students at SDN 16 Landau Siling. The research was motivated by students’ low mathematical communication skills, particularly their lack of confidence in expressing mathematical ideas both orally and in writing. This study employed a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a one-group pretest–posttest design. The population consisted of all 18 third-grade students at SDN 16 Landau Siling, selected using a saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire measuring mathematical communication skills. Data were analyzed using the Method of Successive Interval (MSI), the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and a paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average pretest score was 67.72, while the average posttest score was 78.66. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed. The paired sample t-test yielded a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.004 < 0.05, indicating that Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Jigsaw cooperative learning model has a significant effect on students’ mathematical communication skills. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas III SDN 16 Landau Siling. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, seperti kurangnya keberanian dalam menyampaikan ide-ide matematika baik secara lisan maupun tertulis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen menggunakan desain one group pretest–posttest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas III SDN 16 Landau Siling yang berjumlah 18 orang, dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Analisis data dilakukan melalui transformasi Method of Successive Interval (MSI), uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata pretest sebesar 67,72 dan skor rata-rata posttest sebesar 78,66. Hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Hasil uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,004 < 0,05, sehingga Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas III SDN 16 Landau Siling.
