Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of market levies and population on increasing local own-source revenue (PAD). This study uses secondary data from the regional revenue service (Dispenda) and the central statistical agency (BPS) data collected includes data on market levies, population numbers and the level of local revenue. The analytical method uses the multiple linear regression equation model. The results of this study amounted to one variable that had a positive effect on the increase in population. As for those who did not have a significant effect on the increase in local revenue, namely market fees.

Abstract

This research aims to identify inhibiting and supporting factors in the development of the walnut snack industry and determine strategies for its advancement on Makian Island. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing the postpositivism paradigm, a philosophical approach that emphasizes empirical phenomena. The primary data for this research were obtained from 8 informants, and data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results reveal a significant dependence of Suma Village residents on Walnut Snacks for their livelihoods, with a considerable impact on their economic welfare. The presence of the Walnut Snacks business contributes significantly to improving the prosperity of the Suma Village Community. In addition to the cultural values inherent in the local community, social values are also deeply ingrained in every individual within the Suma Village Community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis : (1). perkembangan harga beras, pendapatan masyarakat, dan jumlah penduduk serta permintaan konsumsi beras di Provinsi Maluku Utara periode 2011-2021. (2). Menganalisis pengaruh harga beras, pendapatan masyarakat dan jumlah penduduk terhadap permintaan konsumsi beras di Provinsi Maluku Utara selama periode yang sama, dan Menganalisis pula tingkat kepekaan perubahan permintaan konsumsi beras di provinsi yang sama sebagai akibat dari perubahan yang terjadi pada tingkat harga beras, pendapatan masyarakat dan jumlah penduduk selama periode penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat harga beras mengalami peningkatan yang cukup tinggi 3,72 % per tahun, pendapatan masyarakat meningkat rendah 4,89 % per tahun, jumlah penduduk juga tumbuh rendah 2,22 % per tahun, sedangkan permintaan konsumsi beras hanya meningkat sebesar 2,63 % per tahun. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan model logaritma ganda atau model elastisitas konstan ditemukan bahwa, peubah-peubah bebas harga beras, pendapatan masyarakat, dan jumlah penduduk secara kolektif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan konsumsi beras di Provinsi Maluku Utara pada taraf keyakinan 99 persen. Sementara secara individual, dari tiga peubah bebas terseut, hanya peubah bebas pendapatan masyarakat yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan konsumsi beras pada taraf keyakinan 99,5 persen, sedangkan peubah bebas harga beras dan jumlah penduduk tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap permintaan konsumsi beras pada taraf keyakinan 90 persen. Hasil analisis elastisitas konstan juga memperlihatkan bahwa, tingkat kepekaan perubahan permintaan konsumsi beras di Provinsi Maluku bersifat tidak elastis terhadap perubahan harga beras, pendapatan masyarakat dan jumlah penduduk.
