Abstract

Background - Companies want to succeed in their business. Companies must be able to develop their human resources in order to drive progress for the company. Productivity is a very old concept, but it is still relevant today. The renewed interest in productivity reflects public awareness of the impact of productivity on economic growth, living standards, and competitiveness. PT XYZ has not achieved its production target for the past three years, indicating compromised productivity. Objectives - This study aims to look at employee productivity at PT XYZ by looking at motivation, compensation, and work environment as variables that support or weaken productivity. Design / Methodology / Approach - In this study, the approach used is a quantitative approach. Data collection in the form of a questionnaire was used to obtain data. Multiple linear regression was used to test the truth of the hypothesis proposed in the study. Findings - Motivation has been shown to have an effect on productivity. Compensation has been shown to have no effect on productivity. The work environment has been shown to have no effect on productivity. Research Implications - This study provides an overview of productivity in companies that can be supported by employee motivation, but not by compensation and work environment. PT XYZ has homework to restore the rhythm of its employees' work productivity by stabilizing the work environment and providing compensation.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance financial management skills and the utilization of social media marketing among Make Up Artist (MUA) entrepreneurs who are members of the Indonesian Bridal Makeup Artist Association (HARPI) Melati in Karangpawitan District, Garut Regency. The main issues faced by the partners include low financial literacy, mixing of personal and business finances, lack of proper financial reporting, and suboptimal marketing strategies through social media. The program was implemented through initial coordination with local authorities, socialization, lectures, workshops, bookkeeping training, social media marketing strategies, interactive discussions, and evaluations. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ ability to prepare simple financial statements, develop budget plans, and leverage social media to enhance business competitiveness. This activity is expected to support the growth of MUA businesses, increase income, and contribute to reducing unemployment rates in the area.

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan industri yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan pendapatan daerah diantaranya melalui industri jasa hotel. Terdapat 106 hotel di Kabupaten Garut dengan kunjungan ke wilayah Cipanas menduduki peringkat 4 dari seluruh primadona lokasi wisata, salah satunya Kampung Sumber Alam Resort. Namun, kunjungan ke resort ini mengalami fluktuasi pada tahun 2021-2022 yang disebabkan oleh kendala eksternal seperti penurunan kunjungan di momen tertentu seperti bulan Ramadhan dan kendala internal berkaitan dengan sistem pengendalian internal penerimaan kas yang masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa sistem pengendalian internal penerimaan kas pada Hotel Sumber Alam Cipanas Garut dengan metode kualitatif dari sumber data primer berupa wawancara dan survey dengan dilengkapi oleh sumber data sekunder dari dokumentasi dan penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Teknik penarikan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu penerimaan kas tahun 2021-2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pengendalian internal penerimaan kas pada Hotel Sumber Alam Cipanas pada umumnya sudah baik dengan terpenuhinya unsur- unsur tersebut pada perusahaan.
