Abstract

This research aims to determine the success of the graft (Mangifera indica) with a variety of mango varieties. This research was conducted in CV. Hutanku District of Birem Bayeun, East Aceh District Aceh Province with a height of place ± 10 m above. The research was held in Februai until May 2020. The study uses the random Design Group (RAK) factorial pattern consisting of two factors: the firstfactor is the mango plant varieties (V), which consist of 3 levels namely: V1: Arumanis, V2: Manalagi, V3: Apples. The second factor is the long entres Mango Plant (P), which consists of 3 levels namely: P1: Length of entres 10 cm, P2: Length of Entres 12.5 cm, P3: Length of entres 15 cm. Thus acquired 9 treatment combinations with 3 repeats, thus obtained 27 units of trial. Each unit of trial consists of 2 plants in the polybag used as sample. The results of the study showed a very real effect of mango varieties on plant life percentage at age 4, 6 and 8 MSG, high shoots at the age of 4, 6 and 8 MSG, Diameter shoots at ages 4, 6 and 8 MSG, the number of leaves aged 4, 6 and 8 MSG. The best results were obtained in the V1 (Arumanis) treatment. The length ofentres has no noticeable effect on the percentage of life, height buds, diameter buds and the number of leaves at ages 4, 6 and 8 MSG. The interaction between the varietal and long entres has no noticeable effect on the percentage of life, height buds, diameter buds and the number of leaves at ages 4, 6 and 8 MSG.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technology compels schools to adopt learning media that elevate achievement and cultivate twenty-first-century competencies. In science education, conventional teacher-centered instruction often fails to sustain engagement or deepen conceptual understanding, creating an urgent need for evidence-based innovations. This study examined the effectiveness of digital learning media in improving science achievement at MTs Muhammadiyah Datarang, an Islamic junior secondary school. A quantitative quasi-experimental design was implemented with two intact classes: an experimental group (n = 27) taught using digital media and a control group (n = 26) taught conventionally. Data were collected via pretest–posttest instruments and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normalized gain (N-Gain), and independent-samples t tests. Results showed that the experimental group attained a mean posttest score of 91.41 and an average N-Gain of 0.70 (high), whereas the control group achieved a score of 80.42 and a N-Gain of 0.27 (low); the difference was statistically significant (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that digital media enhance conceptual understanding, engagement, and motivation compared with traditional instruction. The study’s novelty lies in providing rigorous quantitative evidence from a madrasah context that is underrepresented in the technology-enhanced science learning literature. Integrating interactive, visual, feedback-oriented tools can transform science learning in Islamic schools by enabling deeper processing and more equitable progress. This research contributes to physics education by presenting a practical model aligned with multimedia learning theory, providing classroom benchmark values, and informing teacher development and school-level policy. Future studies should extend the intervention longitudinally, involve larger and more diverse samples, and examine affective and social outcomes to evaluate the sustainability and generalizability of the gains.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the development of the Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning process in the implementation of the Independent Learning curriculum. The research was conducted at Teladan Sei Rampah High School in the academic year 2022/2023. The success of the implementation of this new curriculum is measured through surveys and direct observations of students. Participants in this study were high school students at Teladan Sei Rampah who were involved in the PJOK learning process using the Independent Learning curriculum. The research design adopts a quantitative approach with data collection using questionnaires and observations. The instruments used include structured questionnaires and observation checklists to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of learning. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical application. The results of the data analysis include an evaluation of the effectiveness of the Independent Learning curriculum in improving the PJOK learning process. The findings of this research will provide better insights into the extent to which the curriculum meets the educational goals and needs of students. Based on the results of the analysis, the study concludes on the success or shortcomings of the Independent Learning curriculum in enhancing the PJOK learning process at Teladan Sei Rampah High School. This conclusion contributes significantly to a better understanding of the implementation of the new curriculum in the context of sports education at the high school level. Furthermore, this research provides a foundation for future studies related to the development of curricula and more effective learning strategies in an evolving educational context.
