Abstract

Current curriculum changes have an impact on the world of education, namely the creation of a new movement with the School Literacy Movement (GLS). The school literacy movement is an effort made to create a learning organization whose citizens are lifelong literate and involve the public. The problems that occur at SDN Bandungrejosari 3 Malang are students' low interest in reading, the three stages of literacy are less than optimal, students must be reminded to carry out literacy activities. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the Literacy Movement (GLS) program at SDN Bandungrejoasi 3 Malang. This research uses qualitative research and the type of research uses case studies with research instruments in the form of observation sheets, interviews and documentation sheets. The research subjects were school principals, teachers, class V B students, and librarians. The research results show that SDN Bandungrejosari 3 Malang has implemented the School Literacy Movement (GLS) program based on government policy and school policy. The GLS program has three stages, namely the habituation, development and learning stages. The GLS program running at SDN Bandungrejosari 3 Malang includes library visits, learning outside the classroom, decorating wall panels and arranging reading corners.

Abstract

Abstract: Analysis of school literacy movements in fostering children's reading literacy in elementary schools is important because reading literacy is a very important basic skill for children in elementary school age. The purpose of this researcher is to find out how to implement school literacy movements in fostering reading interest in grade IV children and to find out and how to overcome the obstacles of the GLS program in fostering reading interest in grade IV at SDK Marga Bhakti Malang. The method used is descriptive qualitative. In this study, the researcher used a case study research type. The research subjects in this study were the principal, grade IV homeroom teacher, library literature teacher and ten grade IV students. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Hubermai Technique, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data collection. The results of the study indicate that the reading interest in SDK Merga Bhakti Malang was previously still categorized as simple, even though the GLS program had been implemented. The GLS program implemented in SDK Marga Bhakti Malang, with 3 stages, namely habituation, development and learning, which is an effort to foster students' interest in reading, one way to find out the increase in fostering interest in reading can be seen from the student literacy research sheet IV. Then the interest in reading in class IV is said to be moderate, this can be seen and proven by the results of the reading corner book borrowing records. Kata kunci: GLS (School Literacy Movement), Literacy   Abstrak: Analisis gerakan literasi sekolah dalam menumbuhkan literasi membaca anak di SD menjadi penting karena literasi membaca merupakan keterampilan dasar yang sangat penting bagi anak-anak di usia sekolah dasar. Tujan peneliti ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana menerapkan gerakan literasi sekolah dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca anak kelas IV dan mengetahui dan bagaimana mengatasi kendala program GLS dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca kelas IV di SDK Marga Bhakti Malang. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif. Pada penelitn ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian studi kasus. subjek penelitian dalam peneliti ini adalah kepla sekolah, guru wali kelas IV, guru literart perustakaan dan  sepuluh siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi,wawancara,serta dokumentasi. Teknk analisis data menggunakan Teknik Miles dan Hubermai yaitu redukasi data, penyajia data, dan pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menujuan bahwa menunjkan bahwa minat baca yang ada di SDK Merga Bhakti malang sebelumnya masih di katagorikan sederhana, walaupun program GLS telah di terapkan. Adapun program GLS yang di terapkan di SDK Marga Bhakti Malang, dengan 3 tahap yaitu pembiasaan, pengembangan dan pembelajaran, yang merupakan upaya untuk menumbuhkan minat baca siswa, salah satu untuk mengetahui peningkatan dalam menumbuhkan minat membaca dapat dilihat dari lembar penelitian literasi siswa IV. Lalu Adapun minat baca yang ada di kelas IV di katakana sedang hal ini bisa di lihat dan d buktikn dengan hasil cacatan peminjaman buku pojok baca. Kata kunci: GLS (Gerakan Litersi Sekolah), Literasi
