Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hal yang sangat mendasar (central basic) yang dapat membawa perubahan terhadap manusia. Perubahan tersebut sifatnya bertahap dan memerlukan waktu yang cukup lama. Telah banyak perkembangan dan kemajuan di segala bidang yang disebabkan oleh adanya pendidikan. Dengan demikian adanya pendidikan dapat mengubah suatu keadaan (Negara, Bangsa bahkan perorangan) menjadi kondisi kehidupan yang lebih baik. Kurikulum menjadi alat yang sangat penting bagi keberhasilan pendidikan, baik formal maupun non formal. Pendidikan non formal diperoleh di lingkungan keluarga melalui interaksi antara orang tua serta anak. Pendidikan formal diperoleh melalui sekolah. Kurikulum dalam pendidikan formal memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dan menentukan pencapaian tujuan pendidikan.Tujuan pendidikan antara lain agar siswa atau peserta didik mampu terjun ke masyarakat, menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi dan memiliki kepribadian yang baik. Untuk itu peserta didik harus belajar berbagai disiplin ilmu dan mengerti bagaimana cara menerapkan disiplin ilmu tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Berbagai disiplin ilmu tersebut tentu harus dipelajari dalam sebuah proses yang disebut dengan pembelajaran. Guru melakukan interaksi pendidikan secara berencana dan sadar. Sekolah telah memiliki kurikulum. Kurikulum digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dan sasaran dari pendidikan.Guru juga berkewajiban untuk menjelaskan kepada siswa tentang apa yang akan dicapai dengan pembelajarannya. Guru hendaknya melakukan berbagai upaya untuk membangkitkan motivasi belajar, menciptakan situasi kompetitif dan kooperatif, memberikan pengarahan dan bimbingan. Dalam kondisi ideal guru juga berperan sebagai pembimbing, berusaha memahami secara seksama potensi dan kelemahan siswa, serta membantu mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how the transformation of Islamic education values is carried out in the learning process within the pesantren environment. As a traditional Islamic educational institution, pesantren plays a central role in shaping students' character and spirituality through a value-based learning approach. In the era of globalization and the advancement of information technology, pesantren are required to transform Islamic education values to remain relevant to contemporary needs without losing the Islamic essence that serves as their foundation. The research method used in this study is qualitative, employing a case study approach in several pesantren in Indonesia. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the transformation of Islamic education values in pesantren occurs through three main approaches: (1) integration of classical and modern curricula, (2) utilization of technology in learning, and (3) instilling character values such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and tolerance through role modeling and habituation. Additionally, pesantren adapt their teaching strategies to meet contemporary needs while maintaining their traditional identity.The implications of this transformation show that pesantren not only sustain their existence but also evolve into Islamic educational institutions that are responsive and relevant to modern challenges. In conclusion, the transformation of Islamic education values in pesantren learning is a dynamic process that combines tradition and innovation to achieve holistic and sustainable education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of digital literacy in an effort to improve students' understanding of religious character through the library study method. The background of this study is based on the challenges of the digital era which have a significant impact on character values, including religious character in students. Digital literacy, as the ability to understand and utilize information through digital media wisely, is a potential means in character education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a library study method, namely collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing various library sources in the form of scientific journals, books, and relevant articles in the last five years. The results of the study show that digital literacy can be a bridge in conveying religious values ??contextually and attractively to students, especially through digital platforms such as educational videos, learning applications, and social media that are directed at religious content. In addition, digital literacy also helps students distinguish valid religious information and avoid negative content. Improving understanding of religious character through digital literacy requires the active role of teachers and educational institutions in guiding students to use technology ethically and responsibly. In conclusion, digital literacy is a relevant and effective strategy in instilling and strengthening students' religious character amidst technological developments. Recommendations from this study emphasize the importance of integrating digital literacy into the religious education curriculum as well as training for teachers in the use of digital media based on spiritual values.
