Abstract

This research aims to examine the utilization of digital technology in enhancing business and educational services at PT Kombas Digital Internasional, a company engaged in e-commerce, digital agency, and education. Digital technology currently plays a crucial role across various sectors, including business and education, significantly impacting operational efficiency and service quality. Through a case study approach, this research explores various digital innovations implemented by PT Kombas Digital Internasional, as well as the challenges and opportunities encountered during their implementation. Data was collected through interviews with internal stakeholders, field observations, and analysis of related documents. The findings show that digital technologies, such as e-learning platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and marketing automation, have made substantial contributions to improving services in both the business and education sectors. However, the company also faces challenges related to technology infrastructure and human resource readiness. This study is expected to provide insights for other companies looking to adopt digital technology to improve services and competitiveness in the digital era. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam meningkatkan pelayanan bisnis dan pendidikan pada PT Kombas Digital Internasional, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang e-commerce, digital agency, dan pendidikan. Teknologi digital saat ini memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk bisnis dan pendidikan, yang memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap efisiensi operasional dan kualitas layanan. Melalui pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi berbagai inovasi digital yang diterapkan oleh PT Kombas Digital Internasional, serta tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pemangku kepentingan internal perusahaan, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi digital, seperti platform e-learning, sistem manajemen pelanggan (CRM), dan automasi pemasaran, telah memberikan kontribusi besar terhadap peningkatan pelayanan baik di sektor bisnis maupun pendidikan. Meskipun demikian, perusahaan juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan terkait infrastruktur teknologi dan kesiapan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi perusahaan lain dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital untuk meningkatkan layanan dan daya saing di era digital. Abstract

Background: Community engagement in media and the arts has often emphasized technical skill development and product-oriented outcomes, while the creative process, situated practice, and collective learning remain underexplored. In the context of tourism village promotion, audiovisual pre-production can function not only to improve workflow organization but also to shape how creative practice is understood and enacted within communities.Aims: This study examines how pre-production structures are introduced in a community context, how participants respond to structured workflows and role distribution, and how video production facilitates collective learning and shared creative knowledge.Methods: A qualitative practice-based case study was conducted within an interpretive–constructivist paradigm. Data were generated through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and reflexive field notes during a facilitated village promotional video project. Data were analyzed using reflexive thematic analysis.Results: Structured pre-production functioned as an orienting and mediating framework that clarified roles, reduced uncertainty, and enabled collaborative decision-making. The use of accessible planning practices, including mood boards, supported collective engagement in visual thinking. Video production also operated as a site of collective learning, where knowledge was externalized, negotiated, and shared.Conclusion: Structuring creative practice in community contexts not only improves production processes but also transforms how knowledge is collectively constructed. The study positions pre-production as an epistemic space, contributing to community engagement and practice-based research.
