Abstract

Pesantren merupakan lembaga Pendidikan Islam di Indonesia yang memiliki peran dalam membentuk karakter dan keilmuan santri. Salah satu Pesantren Modern yang ada di Indonesia yaitu Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) Putri Kampus 3 merupakan pengembangan dari PMDG Putri Kampus 1 yang berdiri untuk menampung jumlah santri yang meningkat. Kampus ini memiliki sistem Kulliyatul Mu’allimat Al-Islamiyyah (KMI) yang dibina dan dididik untuk menjadi wanita muslimah dan sholihah. Dalam upaya untuk mendukung pengembangan intelektual santri, PMDG Putri Kampus 3 menyediakan wadah kegiatan pengembangan seperti Exact Club dan praktek sains di kelas oleh pengajar. Namun, pemberdayaannya kurang optimal karena beberapa faktor, seperti keilmuan pengajar dan kegiatan yang kurang bervariasi. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian masyarakat mengusung tema SDGs 4 yaitu pendidikan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan pengajar dan santri dalam bidang sains melalui praktik biologi, kimia, hidroponik, dan ecoprinting. Pengabdian dilaksanakan menggunakan  pendekatan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pembuatan modul, dan monitoring serta evaluasi.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam penggunaan alat laboratorium serta pelaksanaan praktik ilmiah sederhana di lingkungan pesantren. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam mengintegrasikan sains dan nilai-nilai Islam guna mendukung pendidikan yang berkelanjutan di PMDG Putri Kampus 3.    Kata kunci: Agroteknologi, pendidikan, pertanian, pesantren. ABSTRACT Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that play a role in shaping the character and knowledge of students. One of the modern Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) Putri Campus 3, is a development of PMDG Putri Campus 1, which was established to accommodate the increasing number of students. This campus has a Kulliyatul Mu’allimat Al-Islamiyyah (KMI) system that is fostered and educated to become Muslim women and pious. In an effort to support the intellectual development of students, PMDG Putri Campus 3 provides a forum for development activities such as Exact Club and science practices in class by teachers. However, the empowerment is less than optimal due to several factors, such as the knowledge of teachers, activities that are not varied enough. Therefore, this community service program carries the theme of SDGs 4, namely Sustainable Education, with an approach of socialization, training, module creation, and monitoring and evaluation. This activity aims to improve the abilities of teachers and students in the field of science through practices in biology, chemistry, hydroponics, and ecoprinting. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in the use of laboratory equipment and the implementation of simple scientific practices in the Islamic boarding school environment. This activity is expected to be the first step in integrating science and Islamic values to support sustainable education at PMDG Putri Campus 3.
