Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to know the increased civic education learning activities using methods on student quiz team SD Negeri Pontianak 24. The methods used in this research is descriptive method, a form of research is Research Action class (PTK), the research is qualitative research approach, whereas the nature of his work is collaborative. The subject in this study are grade IV SD Negeri Pontianak Southeast 24 of 24 people consisting of 7 male students and 17 female students, by setting research in class. The data collecting techniques used direct observation techniques. Results achieved in this study already good that is as follows: (1) the ability of teachers in the learning plan increased from 3.6 on cycle I increased to 3.89 cycle IV. Going on an increase of 0.29. (2) the ability of teachers in implementing learning increased from 3.59 on cycle I increased to 3.91 cycle IV. Going on an increase of 0.32. (3) the activity of the students in the learning process increased from 39.5% in cycle I increased to 80.1% in cycle IV. Going on an increase of 40.6%. Conclusion the application of, methods of a class IV quiz team SD Negeri Pontianak 24 Southeast can improve civic education learning activities. Keywords : Quiz Team Method, Learning Activity
