Abstract

The demand for mobile technology services forces communication companies to build numerous Base Transceiver Station (BTS) devices to meet customer needs. The construction of BTS must cover all areas, including remote regions without electricity. One example of a remote island without electricity is Genting Island in Karimunjawa, where the implementation of environmentally friendly renewable energy can serve as a power supply for BTS. One such environmentally friendly power supply is using photovoltaic-based micro-grid systems. Therefore, the availability of 234 kWh of electrical energy with a photovoltaic-based micro-grid system as an ideal power supply for BTS on Genting Island needs to be planned and its economic value analyzed. This micro-grid system data analysis is conducted through simulation on PVSyst. The results of this study indicate that the ideal photovoltaic micro-grid system for BTS uses 192 units of 410 Watt monocrystalline PV modules with 15 units of Solar Charger Controllers, 312 lead-acid batteries, 9 battery inverters, an NVP value of 65,511,705, a PI value of 1.0064, and a DPP value of 25 years.

Abstract

This comprehensive study examines the potential and suitability of implementing Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as a renewable energy solution in Pelawi Utara Village. The study used a quantitative approach through primary data collection in the form of community energy demand surveys and solar energy potential measurements, as well as secondary data from relevant agencies. Potential analysis showed that the research location has an average solar radiation of 4.8 kWh/m²/day with an effective irradiation duration of 5 hours per day, while the community's electrical energy needs reach an average of 900 kWh per month with a peak load of 35,094 kW. The technical feasibility study indicated that the implementation of a 45,000 kW solar power plant could meet 30% of the community's total energy demand. The economic analysis showed investment feasibility with a payback period of 8 years, Net Present Value (NPV) of IDR 165,000,000,000, and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 15%. The results of this comprehensive study conclude that PLTS is an appropriate renewable energy solution for Pelawi Utara Village based on resource potential, technical aspects, and economic feasibility.

Abstract

Snakehead fish has many health benefits. However, the consumption level of snakehead fish is still relatively low. One of the product developments that can be made from it is snakehead fish shredded. As a functional food, apart from the nutritional aspect, the acceptance by society should be considered. This research used the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method to (1) determine the priority criteria aspects in snakehead fish shredded, and (2) establish the best treatment for making snakehead fish shredded. The highest criterion weight was the taste aspect, followed by the colour aspect, fat content, and texture. The best treatment in making snakehead fish shredded based on the criteria was snakehead fish shredded which was processed using a deep frying and spinner and stir-frying with spices Keywords: AHP, shredded, snakehead fish.
