Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find God's truth about spiritual discipline in the Old Testament as a basis for theology students in completing their study assignments at STT Ebenhaezer Tanjung Enim. This is motivated by the lack of student understanding of spiritual discipline, especially students who have received disciplinary sanctions from institutions. In order to solve the above problems, research was carried out using descriptive-bibliological methods especially in the Old Testament. The result is the basis of spiritual discipline, namely the law, God's revelation and God's promises. The principle of spiritual discipline is to be carried out continuously, in the form of orders and various regulations, educating in truth and proclaiming justice. The purpose of spiritual discipline is for God's people to experience repentance, improve spiritual quality and bring God's people to true worship. The pattern of spiritual discipline is through the traditions of God's people, teaching, warnings and punishment.

Abstract

Isu mengenai perselingkuhan setiap tahunnya semakin meningkat. Oleh sebab itu, penting untuk memperkenalkan topik perselingkuhan dan perceraian sebagai isu penting dalam kehidupan berkeluarga, secara khusus pada Keluarga Kristen di GMI Anugerah Lubuk Linggau. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini yaitu agar keluarga kristen di GMI Lubuk Linggau semakin dikuatkan dalam hubungan pernikahannya, sebab konsekuensi terjadinya perselingkuhan akan berujung kepada perceraian.Untuk itu metode yang digunakan adalah dengan melakukan seminar, ceramah dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah keluarga kristen mendapatkan pengetahuan yang benar mengenai metodologi Allah dalam sebuah pernikahan.

Abstract

The World Council of Churches is an official organization formed for the benefit of the church to promote the unity and unity of the churches in the world. This organization belongs to the ecumenical movement that directs the church to participate in paying attention to the conditions that occurred after the world war, especially at the formation of the World Council of Churches in Amsterdam in 1948. The form of participation of the World Council of Churches can be seen from social actions and efforts in carrying out reforms both spiritually and in circumstances. national church related. According to the author, students need to understand the background of the formation of this movement comprehensively in order to add insight from the history of the formation of ecumenical organizations in the world, therefore, the author will describe the history of the formation of the World Council of Churches through descriptive methods and literature review by collecting various kinds of data related to the subject to be reviewed

Abstract

This research aims to develop mission theology within the context of cross-cultural engagement in Indonesia, a multicultural country rich in diverse traditions and local values. The employed method is qualitative, utilizing a literature review that involves analyzing missiological thought and the practical experiences of missionaries. The findings indicate that a contextual approach that integrates local culture with the teachings of the Gospel can enrich the spiritual experience of congregations. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the church and the community, as well as the use of modern technology in evangelism. The conclusion of this research is that a holistic and integrative mission theology can address cultural and social challenges in the era of globalization, making evangelism a relevant and sustainable participatory process.
