Abstract

This study explores the impact of service innovation, customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and word-of-mouth (WOM) marketing on the business growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Using data collected from 300 MSME owners and managers, the research employs descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression to examine the relationships between the key variables. The findings reveal that customer satisfaction is the most significant predictor of business growth, followed by brand loyalty, WOM marketing, and service innovation. The study also highlights the interconnectedness of these factors, suggesting that a holistic approach integrating service innovation, customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and WOM marketing is crucial for MSMEs to sustain growth and remain competitive. Practical recommendations are provided for MSME owners and managers to enhance business performance through customer-centric strategies, innovation, and brand-building efforts.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of short-form video marketing, influencer relatability, and trust signals on Generation Z’s purchase intention in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 400 respondents aged 18 to 27 who actively engage with short-form video platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts and have made recent online purchases. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that all three variables significantly and positively influence purchase intention, with influencer relatability showing the strongest effect. The findings underscore the importance of authentic influencer connections, engaging video content, and transparent trust signals in shaping the purchasing decisions of digital-native consumers. This research offers valuable implications for marketers seeking to optimize digital marketing strategies tailored to Generation Z’s unique preferences and behaviors.

Abstract

The Hajj pilgrimage is one of the pillars of Islam that must be performed by every Muslim who is capable. Indonesia, being a country with a Muslim-majority population, has a high demand for the Hajj pilgrimage. Consequently, the number of registrants increases significantly each year. The limited quota for Hajj departures results in long waiting periods of up to 19-20 years. This situation has led to the practice of badal hajj, where someone can perform the Hajj on behalf of another person who is unable due to physical limitations, advanced age, or death. This study employs a literature review method to investigate this issue. Badal hajj has strong foundations in Islamic law derived from the Qur'an, Hadith, and scholarly opinions. Its implementation requires several conditions, such as the representative must be a Muslim, of sound mind, mature baligh, legally competent, have previously performed the Hajj for themselves, and represent only one individual per Hajj season. Although badal hajj has become a common practice, it is undeniable that it faces issues, both in its legal basis and practical execution. From a fiqh perspective, differences of opinion persist among Islamic scholars. In practice, various deviations have been committed by irresponsible parties. Therefore, this study also discusses the religious evidence supporting the legal basis of badal hajj, the views of different Islamic schools of thought, and the importance of sincere intentions in performing the pilgrimage. Differences in opinion regarding the eligibility and procedures for badal hajj among scholars emerge as a significant finding requiring further exploration. This research provides a comprehensive understanding of the requirements, conditions, and legal principles of badal hajj to ensure its alignment with Islamic law

Abstract

Abstract

Globalization has contributed to a decline in children's familiarity with local languages and cultures. This situation calls for educational strategies that preserve local heritage while fostering early multilingual skills. This study explores the meaning and implementation of the Sarigabah (One Day, Three Languages) program at SDN 1 Mangkujayan as a cultural preservation and multilingual education effort. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving three teachers and six students. The findings show that Sarigabah integrates the use of Indonesian, Javanese, and English within a single school day according to a set schedule. The inclusion of Reog Ponorogo traditional attire enhances cultural values. Teachers and students actively participate, show pride, and develop greater confidence in using both local and foreign languages. The program fosters a culturally rich, multilingual learning environment. Thus, Sarigabah is an effective model of local wisdom-based education to address global challenges.
