Abstract

Determine the model is a necessity in a company, the amount of raw material cotton uncertain within a company can result in losses, the amount of inventory that are too much than the required amount will result in overlapping inventories and working capital investment means embedded and useless. In addition cotton is easy once the goods are damaged and if damaged can not be used again in other words should be discarded. We recommend that if the total inventory is not sufficient number of requests or needs will lead to cessation of the production process that can damage the company image in the eyes of the customer. Therefore we need a model able to address the conditions of supply of, nor in determining the optimal model of cotton supply in the PT. XYZ, where the use of cotton each month is uncertain. The mathematical model is an approach that the authors analyzed for application at. XYZ. With this mathematical model it can be determined the optimal amount of cotton supplies each month is also equipped with a table-making opportunity loss as consideration for making the decision.

Abstract

Currently queuing theory is applied in many areas of business, industry, transport andeveryday problem the other. A queue can occur if the arrival rate is greater than thelevel of service. In theory there are two queue model queue is a queue model ofsingle-channel and multi-channel queuing model. In single-channel queuing modelthere is only one service facility, while in multi-channel queue more than one servicefacility. Both models are applied to the case of queuing system at Soekarno Hatta Airport todetermine the operating characteristics of queuing systems by using simulationtechniques or formulas queue. Where is the solution obtained will be compared todetermine the level of service efficiency. In this study we concluded that thesettlement system operating characteristics of multi-channel queuing model with thesimulation technique is more complicated but more efficient.

Abstract

This thesis describes the scheduling system at the laboratory informatics managementassistant at STMIK Jakarta, where the scheduling system is currently an assistantcarried out manually. assistant manually scheduling system has many weaknessesalthough there are advantages.authors tried to overcome the weaknesses of these systems with the proposed newsystem, namely assistant computerized scheduling system. if later found a weakness, chest charitable writer to accept. but of course the writer is attempting to design thesystem optimally scheduling the best assistant.way the system works can be seen in the discussion section, there are described indetail below design input and output. attached to the end writing the dialogue inputimage and the shape of the output along with the program, to support the proposednew system.
