Abstract

Central obesity is a condition of excess fat accumulation in the abdomen. Lifestyle factors such as consuming high-fat foods, low fiber intake, and low physical activity can contribute to central obesity. The objective of this study is to investigate the prevalence of obesity, dietary habits, and body image perception in college students at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This quantitative study was conducted using a cross-sectional design in the Nutrition Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, UNTIRTA, in November 2022.The population of the study was students of the Nutrition Study Program, batch 2020-2022, with a total of 121 students. A sample of 80 students was selected using a total sampling method. The results of the study showed that central obesity in college students was mostly caused by unhealthy lifestyle factors, such as not following a healthy lifestyle, unhealthy eating patterns, and low physical activity. Of the respondents, 67 (80.72%) did not follow a healthy lifestyle, while 13 (15.66%) followed a healthy lifestyle with a balanced diet. Most respondents (66.27%) had the habit of consuming fast food, with a frequency of consumption of 3 times per week in 24.1% of cases. The majority of respondents (63.86%) did not have the habit of exercising. These findings suggest that unhealthy lifestyle factors are major contributors to central obesity in college students of nutrition at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University.

Abstract

Laundry Danish yang berlokasi di Jalan Mekar Sari, Desa Pemuda, masih menghadapi berbagai kendala dalam pengelolaan data dan operasional karena menggunakan sistem manual. Permasalahan seperti kesalahan pencatatan transaksi, keterlambatan layanan, dan kesulitan dalam penyusunan laporan menghambat efisiensi bisnis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, merancang, mengembangkan, dan menguji sistem informasi berbasis web guna mendukung digitalisasi proses operasional Laundry Danish. Metode penelitian meliputi studi pustaka dan wawancara untuk pengumpulan data, serta pendekatan pengembangan sistem menggunakan model Waterfall. Perancangan basis data dilakukan dengan Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) yang mencakup lima entitas utama, dan pemodelan sistem divisualisasikan melalui Unified Modeling Language (UML). Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan framework CodeIgniter 4, bahasa pemrograman PHP, dan basis data MySQL. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode black box dan User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Hasil black box testing menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai dengan spesifikasi. Sementara itu, hasil UAT menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna sebesar 89%, yang menunjukkan bahwa sistem berada pada kategori sangat layak. Implementasi sistem ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan akurasi pengelolaan data serta layanan bisnis laundry.

Abstract

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Banjarmasin City faces challenges in managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, as the manual disposition process is time-consuming, paper-based, and prone to delays or document loss. To address these inefficiencies, a Web-Based Mail Disposition Application was developed to digitalize the document management process. The system allows users to record, track, and distribute correspondence efficiently through an integrated platform that supports automatic notifications and secure digital archiving. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on system design, implementation, and evaluation of its effectiveness in supporting administrative workflows. The results show that the web-based application significantly improves operational efficiency, reduces administrative errors, and enhances transparency and accountability in correspondence management. In conclusion, the adoption of digital document management systems contributes to optimizing work performance and supports the realization of effective, efficient, and environmentally friendly public services at BPS Banjarmasin.
