Abstract

Onion have high economic value that is suitable to be cultivated in peatlands. Efforts to increase onion production can be done with the use of peatlands that have been planted with oil palm immature. Peatlands are managed by the plant spacing and the addition of compost TKKS. The research objective was to determine the effect of plant spacing and composting TKKS the growth and production of onion in the oil palm plantations on peatlands. The research was done in experimentation area Faculty of Agroteknologi Universitas Riau, Rimbo Panjang village, Kampar from June to August 2015. The research was using the Randomized Block Design Factorial with two factors. The first factor of plant spacing with three levels namely: 10 cm x 10 cm, 20 cm x 10 cm dan 20 cm x 20 cm. The second factor of compost dose TKKS  with four levels namely: 5, 10, 15 dan 20 ton/ha. Parameter observed wereplant height, relative growth rate, dry weight, fresh weight tuber per plot, total tuber, rim tuber and dry weighttuber per plot. Abstract

The research aims to determine the mycorrhizal biological fertilizer dose that is effective in the absorption of P for growth and production of sweet corn on peatlands. Research has been conducted in Rimbo Panjang Village, Kampar District, Riau Province. The research lasted for four months starting in December 2015 to March 2016. The research was conducted experiments using a randomized block design (RBD) non factorial, which consists of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The observations were statistically analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Duncan's multiple range test at 5% level. Based on the survey results revealed that administration of a biological fertilizer mycorrhiza real impact on P uptake of plants, root volume, dry weight of plants, production per plot, cob diameter and number of lines of grains per ear, but the effect was not significant on plant height, ratio canopy roots, time appears male flowers, female flowers appear time, harvesting, heavy cob with husk, heavy cob without husk and cob length. Provision of biological fertilizer mycorrhizal 6 g/plant an effective dose to support the growth and the production of sweet corn on peatlands. Abstract

The objective of research was to know the effect of organic fertilizers in efficiency addition of nitrogene, organic fertilizers and nitrogene fertilizers, and for to obtain growth and yield of onion (Allium ascalonicum L.) was good with high efficiency. The research has been conducted in the area of Agricultural Extension Hall, the village of Sungai Geringging, subdistric Kampar Kiri, Regency of Kampar, Riau Province. This research conducted in 4x2 factorial experiment, arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RAK). The first factor is organic fertilizer itc, without organic fertilizer, animal manure 25 ton/ha, the rice straw compost fertilizer 31,25 ton/ha, green manure 10 ton/ha. The second factor the source of nitrogene itc urea 543 kg/ha, ZA 1190 kg/ha. The observed parameters include the total of leaves, plant dry weight, N uptake efficiency, total tuber, convolution tuber, fresh weight tuber, weight shelf of tuber, the effect of organic fertilizer on the efficiency of nitrogene production. The results of research, showed treatment green fertilizer and urea fertilizer produced the highest yield on the observation weight shelf of tuber is 2,60 kg/ plot.
