Abstract

ABSTRACT, The problem in this research is not maximal yet ability of under service volleyball mini on male student class V SDN 015 Sentajo Raya district. This is presumably due to the low strength of the arm and shoulder muscles. So the author wants to prove the corelation between muscle strength of arms and shoulders with the ability of under service volleyball mini on male student class V SDN 015 Sentajo Raya district. The method used is the correlation method. The sample in this research are male students class V SDN 015 Sentajo Raya District totaling 14 students. The sample selection using total sampling technique. The analysis in this study used correlational. Based on the analysis of data obtained by the value of r count is 0.594 with the value rtabel = 0.532, it means rhitung = 0.594> rtabel = 0.532 and it can be said that there is a corelation between muscle strength of arms and shoulders with the capability of under service volleyball mini game male students class V SDN 015 District of Sentajo Raya. The next test signifikaan, obtained t = 2.56, while ttabel with df = n-2 = 14-2 = 12 at 95% confidence level is 1.782. Ho hypothesis testing criteria accepted if thitung smaller than ttabel while the calculation results show that t = 2.56> table = 1.782, thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) that "there is a corealtion betweern muscle strength of arms and shoulders with ability of under service volleyball mini games on male student class V SDN 015 Sentajo Raya District. Abstract

ABSTRACT, The problem in this research is the lack of top serve ability being owned by the students of SMPN 5 Singingi Hilir. This problem is suspected because of the strength of the arm and shoulder muscles. To the researchers aim to prove the corelation between these variables. The method used is a corelational method. Population in this study were students of SMPN 5 Singingi Hilir District of Singingi Hilir who follow extracurricular activities totaled 25 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling so that the sample in this study there were 25 students. Data obtained from the test results pull up and test top serve volleyball. From the analysis, the correlation value can be seen that the value of r count is 0.619 with the value rtabel = 0.396, it means rcount = 0.619> rtabel = 0.396 and it can be said that there is a significant correlation strength of arms and shoulders muscle with the ability to top serve volleyball in students extracurricular activities at SMPN 5 Singingi Hilir District of Singingi Hilir. After the correlation number obtained, further testing the hypothesis by using t-test Significance formula. The calculation of the results t = 3.78, while ttabel with df = n-2 = 25-2 = 23 at 95% confidence level is 1.714. Thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) that "there is a corealtion of arms and shoulders strength muscle with the ability to to serve volleyball in extracurricular student at SMPN 5 Singingi Hilir District of Singingi Hilir." Abstract

ABSTRACT, Background problem in this research is the result of shot put students are still many who do not reach the target. This is presumably because of the explosive power of arms and shoulders. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a corelation explosive power of arms and shoulders with shot put results students of SMPN 6 Teluk Tengah District of Kuantan Tengah. This type of research is correlational comparing the measurement results of two different variables in order to determine the degree of correlation between these variables. As the independent variable (X) is explosive power and arm muscles while the dependent variable (Y) is the result of shot put. This empirically Data obtained from the tests using two hand medicine ball put and shot put test. Based on the results of research and data processing using statistical procedures of research, it can be concluded that for the corelation between the variables x and y values obtained r = 0.66 then r xy> rtabel (0.66> 0.361). And obtained the mean of 4.71 thitungsebesar thitung> ttabel (4.71> 1.701) so this shows that the variables X and Y there is a significant corelation, then Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.Keywords : Explosive Power Arm and Shoulder Muscles, Shot Put
