Abstract

Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah untuk meneliti perencanaan komunikasi iklan yang bidangpemerintahan di Propinsi Riau. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif melaluisuatu studi kasus. Pemilihan sampel penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan tehnik porposivesampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan wawancaramendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi. Semua aktivitas komunikasi dari pemerintah Propinsi Riauditangani oleh Bagian Hubungan Masyarakat. Iklan-iklan itu digunakan untuk mempromosikan kebijakandi bidang pemerintahan, program kerja dan juga beberapa kejadian yang dikerjakan oleh pemerintah.Iklan-iklan di bidang pemerintahan dapat ditemukan di dalam papan reklame dan media massa sepertitelevisi, radio, surat kabar, suara pembaca, situs web dan sebagainya. Iklan-iklan di bidang pemerintahantidak dirancang sembarangan karena iklan tersebut banyak memberikan aspek pengaruh kepadalingkungan masyarakat. Pengaruh utama dalam perencanaan iklan adalah pola-pola kerja dari aparaturdan program kerja kepala daerah. Oleh karena itu, masih terlihat kebanyakan masyarakat yang kurangmenghiraukan media iklan yang disampaikan oleh pemerintah dalam upaya memberikan informasikepada masyarakat.

Advertising in Indonesia experienced rapid development after the political reform in 1998. Because directly the nuances of freedom of communication enjoyed by the public, encouraging the making of advertisements to be expressive with a touch of creativity in accordance with the dynamics of the demands of society. Vircansa Media Production is one of the companies in Pekanbaru that is engaged in creative agency and offers marketing strategy services, video ads, product, compro, graphic design and social media management. Vircansa Media Production offers services that can promote the optimization of a company’s digital marketing. The purpose of this research is to find out the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Vircansa Media Production’s creative agency marketing communication strategy in increasing the number of customers. . Abstract

Fashion and clothing are used as the delivery of non-verbal messages about one's self to others. It also makes how Thrift fashion enthusiasts communicate themselves when wearing Thrift fashion. Various kinds of assumptions about Thrift attract the attention of researchers to dig deeper into the meaning of fashion as communication in fashion Thrift. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman models. The results of this study indicate that because of motives that influence FISIP University of Riau students to use Fashion Thrift in their daily style are social environment factors, social media or mass media and places close to secondhand shops. Abstract

This infrastructure development aims to improve community sanitation services and reduce environmental pollution caused by domestic wastewater which is discharged directly into rivers and land. The PUPR Ministry of Riau Province took steps, namely by carrying out outreach with the target being all Pekanbaru city residents who are around the road that will be demolished for the continuity of the WWTP project. This research aims to find out how the communication planning of the PUPR Ministry of Riau Province is in socializing the construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plan (WWTP) in the city of Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative research methods by presenting descriptive analysis by describing the subject and object of research based on visible facts. The location of this research was carried out in Pekanbaru City, precisely at the Ministry of PUPR, Directorate General of Human Settlements, where the construction of a Wastewater Treatment Plan (WWTP) in Pekanbaru City has been carried out. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, triangulation is used. The results of this research are an analysis of the PUPR Ministry's problem in constructing IPALs because the density of settlements in Pekanbaru City is currently congested so that it can pollute groundwater from domestic waste which is feared to be consumed again by the community. Messages and media from communication planning in the socialization of IPAL construction are messages that are informative, persuasive and educative. Evaluation of communication planning in the socialization of IPAL development is carried out in two stages, namely internal and external evaluation. Abstract

Cancel culture refers to participatory social activism that has become more common since the advent of social media. Cancel culture reflects how public opinion can have a big impact on a career as a public figure. Social media, especially Instagram, can create an environment where public figures are constantly monitored or become the center of attention and assessed by their followers. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of cancellation culture on the image of the @Lambe Turah account among social media users on Instagram. This research was conducted on Instagram social media followers of the @Lambe Turah account. This research uses a quantitative type of research. This is done because the type of data is quantitative. This research method uses quantitative methods because the data is ratio data and is the focus The purpose of this research is to determine the magnitude of the influence between the variables studied.This research was carried out using a survey method using a questionnaire and the analysis technique used was simple regression to examine the influence of cancellation culture on the image of the @Lambe Turah account among social media users on Instagram. The results of this research show that cancel culture has an influence on the image of the @Lambe Turah account. This is reinforced by the value of R2 = 60.6, which means that the contribution of cancel culture has a strong influence on the image of the @Lambe Turah account on Instagram social media. The user of the @Lambe Turah account also carries out grieving where social media users express disappointment with an action taken by someone and then post it on their social media account. This is often done by the @Lambe Turah account against public figures who do something unusual.

Abstract

Critical Communication Paradigm: An Alternative for Science Communication. Thispaper attempts to explain the process of dehumanization in the number of social reality and the developmentof science communication. To overcome this, a critical paradigm as a grand theory of communication isoffered as an option. As an alternative paradigm of this paradigm is expected to be able to free people fromthe cultural and social structures that contain elements of injustice, oppression, domination anddehumanization. This paradigm has the power to change what had happened to the science, theory, practicecommunication and social reality itself.
