Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of interest in reading, factors that affect interest in reading, and the type of reading PBSI UAD students. The method used in this research is the mix method. Data obtained using instruments in the form of observation sheets, interview guidelines, and questionnaires. Data collected through the process of observation, interview activities, and filling out the questionnaire. Data collected in the form of quantitative and qualitative data. The results of this study indicate that the reading interest of PBSI UAD students is categorized as low. This is known from the results of a survey that showed that 51.6% of PBSI UAD students had the frequency of reading one book per month. Other results show that the factors that influence the reading interest of PBSI UAD students are family, school, and environmental factors. Friendship Related to the variety of reading, it can be formulated that the reading consumed by PBSI UAD students can be quite broad and varied. Abstract

Studi ini bertujukan untuk mendeskripsikan perilaku atau aktivitas membaca teks sastra melalui layar gawai yang dilakukan mahasiswa Prodi PBSI UAD. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini adalah etnografi. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan survei terhadap mahasiswa PBSI UAD yang mengikuti mata kuliah kesastraan. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah informasi mengenai aktivitas membaca teks sastra di layar gawai. Temuan dalam studi ini sebagai berikut. Pertama, mahasiswa Prodi PBSI UAD lebih sering melakukan aktivitas membaca teks sastra melalui layar gawai seperti telepon genggam, laptop, atau komputer. Kedua, mahasiswa Prodi PBSI UAD masih pasif dalam aktivitas membaca dan apresiasi teks sastra melalui layar gawai. Tidak banyak mahasiswa yang menuliskan hasil bacaan, komentar, atau apresiasi di internet terhadap teks sastra yang dibaca di layar gawai. Kepasifan ini berpretensi menjadi pemicu lemah dan minimnya apresiasi sastra di kalangan mahasiswa PBSI UAD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh unsur-unsur nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam Webtoon Jajan Squad karya Dito Satrio sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan agar nilai pendidikan tersebut dapat diterapkan ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai pendidikan yang terdapat dalam Webtoon Jajan Squad karya Dito Satri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu Webtoon Jajan Squad, sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah nilai pendidikan. Metode pengumpulan data dengan teknik baca, catat dan purposive sampling. Metode analisis data yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik yang menitikberatkan kajian terhadap peranan pembaca dalam menerima, memahami serta menghayti karya sastra. Metode ini berfungsi untuk memecahkan masalah dengan cara mengumpulkan, menyusun, mengklarifikasi, mengkaji, dan menginterpretasikan data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukan total keseluruhan lima puluh data dengan empat nilai pendidikan yaitu nilai pendidikan moral, nilai pendidikan sosial, nilai pendidikan religius, dan nilai pendidikan budaya.

Abstract

The use of prompt-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) has grown rapidly in academia, offering efficiency and improved research quality. However, student researchers as novice researchers still face challenges such as difficulty formulating research problems, finding and summarizing relevant academic sources, and limited skills in writing effective prompts. Furthermore, there is a lack of programs or training specifically teaching the optimal use of AI in a research context. This Community Service (PkM) was implemented to provide a comprehensive understanding of the use of prompt-based AI in the context of preparing academic research critically, creatively, and ethically, and to help students utilize it in complex research stages, such as literature searches, problem formulation, and instrument development. This activity collaborated with students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Ahmad Dahlan University (UAD) as partners. The training implementation method used a blended learning model (online and offline) and a mixed explanatory method (sequential explanatory) to measure the effectiveness of the training through quantitative data (pre- and post-training surveys) followed by qualitative exploration. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in all aspects of student research competency. Understanding of scientific research procedures improved from "quite capable" to "capable–very capable." Furthermore, their ability to formulate research problems, locate relevant references, and develop scientific article outlines also consistently strengthened. This PkM successfully equipped students to be more independently prepared to initiate and conduct undergraduate research and produced training modules that can be used continuously.
