Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Usability of the WaralabaKita website based on user respondents using the System Usability Scale method. The main key of assessing this method is Utility, whether it is in accordance with user needs. This study used a questionnaire as a means of data collection, then continued by testing the validity of the data to analyze data from 10 questions which resulted in Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.637. From the 30 samples that have been collected, an average SUS score of 69.17 was obtained, which means that this score was included in the Marginal High category and classified into the OK category.

Abstract

This research aims to redesign the user interface of the Reparation application, a motorcycle repair service in Makassar, using the Goal-Directed Design (GDD) method. Data collection was carried out through interviews and questionnaires with 20 users, and the data was processed using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The initial test obtained an average SUS score of 46.375 with a "Not Acceptable" rating. The second test used a new design prototype, which achieved an average score of 84.5 with an "Acceptable" rating. These results indicate an improvement in interface quality from the "Poor" category to "Excellent". With an average score of 84.5 in the second test, the new design has met the standard average SUS of 68. Thus, the prototype design using GDD has successfully met user needs and produced an attractive and user-friendly interface.

Abstract

Hi Jobs! is a mobile application that will help people find work because it provides various information concerning job vacancies. This application is still relatively new and has never been tested before. However, this application already has several criticisms and suggestions from users regarding problems that had occurred when using the Hi Jobs! application. The problems that occurred were related to aspects of application usability. Therefore, usability testing is needed to determine the effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction when using the Hi Jobs! application using Performance Measurement and Concurrent Think Aloud techniques. The test was conducted on 20 participants who were divided into two categories, advanced and novice. The results of the study showed that advanced participants had a success rate of 96% with a total of one failed task, while novice participants had a success rate of 89% with a total of four failed tasks. The average time for participants in the advanced category was 30 seconds and the novice category was 37 seconds. Based on the results of interviews conducted, there were problems with 4 application features of the Hi Jobs! application. In conclusion, this application was very effective but it was not efficient nor has it meet user satisfaction because there are some features that are difficult to find. Therefore, recommendations for improvement have been made based on the received criticisms and suggestions to meet user satisfaction.

Abstract

Search Buddy is a website that provides service search services accessible through any platform. To consistently meet users' expectations of the website's services, an analysis of the website is essential. The conducted research aims to implement the WebQual 4.0 method in analyzing the quality and user satisfaction of the Search Buddy website. The WebQual 4.0 method is a framework that encompasses three main dimensions: usability quality, information quality, and service interaction quality. This method is considered suitable as it measures website quality from the perspective of end users. The analysis results indicate that the variables of usability quality and service interaction quality have a positive impact on user satisfaction. However, the information quality variable does not have a positive impact on user satisfaction. The coefficient of determination analysis shows that the variables of usability quality, information quality, and service interaction quality collectively influence user satisfaction by 40.3%. Based on these findings, it is recommended to pay attention to the aspects of usability quality and service interaction quality present on the website. Additionally, there is a need to enhance the quality of information presented on the website to make it more informative, relevant, and user-friendly, thereby potentially elevating user satisfaction with the Search Buddy website.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengubah user interface (UI) aplikasi chatting Navyfriend menjadi lebih baik dengan menggunakan metode design thinking. Proses pengubahan user interface berdasarkan opini dari sebaran data kuesioner terhadap 21 responden menggunakan Google Form. Pada tahap Emphatize, Data yang terkumpul kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan metode SUS. Pada tahap Define, Hasil pengujian awal diperoleh nilai 31.4 dengan penilaian ‘poor’ sehingga tampilan UI tersebut perlu dirancang ulang. Pada tahap Ideate, aplikasi chatting Navyfriend dirancang ulang dengan mengubah komposisi warna dan tampilan UI. Prototype dari hasil pengubahan user interface aplikasi Navyfriend kemudian diuji kembali dengan metode SUS. Hasil pengujian prototype tersebut menunjukkan nilai 72 dengan penilaian ‘good’. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode design thinking dalam merancang ulang UI, dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih sesuai dengan keinginan pengguna

Abstract

Saheb is a web-based pet shop application built with Next.js and Firebase, offering pet product sales and online veterinary consultation services. However, Saheb faces challenges in integrating with third-party applications and system efficiency due to its reliance on Firebase. This study aims to design a REST API using Express.js to enhance modularity, integration, and application performance. The research methodology includes literature review, REST API design using layered architecture principles, and JWT authentication implementation. Evaluation shows that the REST API implementation reduced Firebase resource usage by 57.66% and significantly improved website performance, with average reductions in Speed Index, TBT, and LCP times. The integration of the REST API with third-party applications successfully facilitates interaction without direct Firebase connections. The study concludes that the implementation of REST API improves the efficiency, scalability, and performance of the Saheb application, and opens up opportunities for further development.

Abstract

Service Electronica Online (SERVIO) is a web-based application project developed to provide online repair services for electronic goods. SERVIO can be accessed online through the website (https://serviceonline.bopolewali.com). The usability of the SERVIO website requires a usability analysis with the aim of ensuring that the website is accepted and used by users, as well as identifying the shortcomings of the SERVIO website. Usability testing on the SERVIO website will be conducted using the Think Aloud method. Based on the results of the usability test of the SERVIO website, respondents believe that the flow of the website is still not understandable. After the errors found in the website display were identified, recommendations were provided in the form of design improvements. The changes in design can be found in the login menu, navigation, service messages, and service progress.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the quality of the Jadwal Ibadah website based on usability, information quality, and interaction quality in relation to user satisfaction. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 30 respondents and analyzed using the System Usability Scale method. The System Usability Scale method is used to produce a user interface design that meets user needs and wants, as well as to determine the usability level of a system. The website testing results yielded a score of 62, which is rated as Good. Therefore, it can be concluded that the design of the Jadwal Ibadah website user interface solves user problems and provides more accurate and precise information.
