Abstract

This paper addresses the dynamic of Albanian migration during the last decade, focusing mainly on the dichotomy of push-pull factors, the migratory project and brain-drain trends. The one of the country, migration has only scarcely and economic development of research and academic debate in Albania. What has been said op to now on Albanian immigrants in Italy, mainly by press and media, had mostly been based on the accredited images and not on the fielde-research on the presence and contribution of immigrants to the country, labour market and society. This paper aims to: i) study the behavior of Albanian migrants, related to the creation, sending, amount and the usage of rimesses and to discover their new features; ii) provide information on the flow of rimesses of legal and illegal international migrants, and on the factors affecting them; iii) provide the respective findings for the studied issues, and give some recommendations on that bass.

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the role of Italy in the opening and support of Italian schools before and after April 1939. Inaddition, the great contribute of Italian teachers in the education field and their efforts in the opening of elementary and general orprofiled high schools for the Albanian students will be treated in this article. Despite the political and propaganda character of theseschools which were subsidized by Italy, they served to the Albanian national inspiration, which from the education, emancipation andnational awareness of the Albanian people gave them a chance to take up and implement the western culture. Sensitivity of the Albanianschool towards the new ideas of western schools would become the main stone of improvement in education and the Albanian school ingeneral. They were represented through activities and achievements of the school towards the new pedagogic ideas and the improvement ofwestern schools and the tendency to represent them in our conditions were supported by the senior executives of education and wereembodied into laws, with educational programs, texts and with serious pedagogical publishing of the time.

Abstract

Today’s society constantly raises issues related to our lives, both in personal and social plans. Handling and resolving theseissues often require not only scientific knowledge but skills and attitudes to engage in discussions related to Historycal events andespecially to make critical judgments in dealing with sociological issues. Determining the difference between History and Sociology helpspeople understand the impact of socio-economic activities and people in the community where we live, highlights developments inrelations between local, national and global level; highlights the ability of citizens to influence the life of community and beyond;examines breadth and depth of sustainable development issues and promotes respect for people and other cultures in the environmentwhere we live.

Abstract

The history of education has valued preciously all people involved in it and has flourished into an educational function,teaching and learning of our thorough knowledge in its institutions - such as "Normale" Educational center that played an historic role inthe Albanian language. Albanian normal schools have a record of long, difficult, but also glorious path. They were the main homes forgenerations of teachers and also the place where it was necessary to prepare the framework for education and awareness of thenation. Albanian teachers, in different periods of history had run the greatest risk of extinction of national culture and education. Theyplanted the sound seeds by which had brought the essence of national awareness, which in a century struggle of unparalleled trials triedto revive education, science, culture and Albania. In the history of Albania teachers and veterans of teaching, wherever they worked andacted, played the leading role, contributed as they could with their valuable works, which undoubtedly served to their students, futureteachers, in raising subsequently the national level of conscience for their learning and teaching.
