Abstract

Background: Increased health status has in impact on the age of women which causes the number of menopause women to also increase. In wundudopi sub district, Kendari city, there are 2.055 women. When entering menopause women will be faced with a new problem that is the change in the body’s metabolism. Purpose: This research is aims to compare the effectiveness of health education through poster and video media on improvement of climacterium mother knowledge in facing menopause in wundudopi sub district in Kendari city. Method: The type og this research uses a quasi-experimental method by comparing counseling knowledge groups through poster and video. The sample in this research was 34 women in wundudopi sub-district. Data collected by measuring knowledge using a questionnaire pre and posttest counseling and statistical analysis paired at a 95% confidence level with α = 0.05. Result: The finding of paired and independent data t-tes conducted that the provision of health education through poster media to increase knowledge with t=14.503 with sig 0.000<0.005 health education trough video media t=2.257 with sig 0.000<0.05. And there are differences in the knowledge of health education through poster and video media before and after counseling t= 15.993 with sig 0.000<0.05. Conclusion: This research concluded that there is a comparison of the effectiveness of health education through poster and video media on the increased knowledge of climacterium mother in the face of menopause in the wundudopi sub-district of Kendari city.

Abstract

Introduction:Fe consumption coverage figures in Indonesia have not yet reached the target, including at the North Poleang Health Center, Bombana Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province, which only reached 12%. Objectives:This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and family support and pregnant women's compliance with consuming FE tablets Methods:This research is a quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study was 117 people with a sample size of 30 people selected using proportional sampling techniques. Results:The test used was the Chi Square test. The results of the Chi-square statistical test carried out obtained a value of Xhit>Xtab 0.621>3.84. The hypothesis was rejected, based on the assessment criteria, there was no relationship between knowledge and compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets. Furthermore, the results of the test for the closeness of the relationship showed that the value of φ was 0.471 or showed a moderate relationship. As well as a value of 10,541>3,841, the hypothesis is accepted, based on the assessment criteria, there is a relationship between family support and the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets. Furthermore, the results of the relationship strength test show that the φ value is 0.593 or shows a strong relationship. Conclusions: The conclusion of this study is that knowledge hevent corre;ation with maternal compliance and family support have a relationship with maternal compliance in consuming Fe tablets.

Abstract

pregnant women did not receive the support of their husbands. Whereas 1 primigravida pregnant woman was stated to have received support from her husband both in terms of emotional support, assessment, instrumental and information. This study aims to determine the relationship of the husband's support to the level of anxiety of third trimester primigravida pregnant women in the working area of the Benu-Benua Kendari West Health Center. This type of research is a quantitative study with a "Cross Sectional Study" design. The total population in April-June is as many as 31 people and a total of 31 people with the total population sampling technique. The analytical method uses the Chi Square Test. The results of this study indicate that there is a strong relationship between emotional support and P Value ≤ α (0.000 ≤ α 0.05) and Contingency Coefficient = 0.660. Contingency Coefficient = (0.4707), there is a strong relationship with instrumental support P Value ≤ α 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05) and Contingency Coefficient = (0.684), there is a strong relationship with information support P Value ≤ α 0.05 (0.000 ≤ 0.05) and Contingency Coefficient = (0.707) with the anxiety level of third trimester primigravida pregnant women in the working area of the Benu-Benua Kendari West Health Center. There is a strong relationship between the husband's support and the level of anxiety of third trimester primigravida pregnant women facing childbirth in the working area of the Benu-Benua Kendari west t Health Center. The conclusion of this study is that there is a strong relationship between emotional support, assessment, instrument, and information with anxiety levels in primigravida trimester III pregnant women in the work area of the Benu benua Kendari West health center. The researchers suggested to the midwives at the Benu-Benua Health Center being able to provide information about the results of the examination and give advice to husbands if third trimester primigravida pregnant women experience problems, especially anxiety in facing childbirth.
