Abstract

Introduction: Cervical cancer is the second most common problem in Indonesia with the main cause of death for women globally. Cervical cancer itself can be detected using the IVA examination method in women of reproductive age. Objective: Identify the determinants of the behavior of women of reproductive age towards screening for early detection of cervical cancer in Muara Kaman Ulu Village in 2023. Method: This research is a quantitative survey method with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were women of reproductive age who met the inclusion criteria. The sample used was 85 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Results and Discussion: The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between age, attitude, knowledge, family support, and socio-culture on the behavior of early detection of cervical cancer with a p value < ? (0.05). Age, attitude, knowledge, family support and socio-culture are factors related to the behavior of women of childbearing age to carry out screening for early detection of cervical cancer. Conclusion: There is a relationship between age, attitude, knowledge, family support and socio-culture towards the behavior of women of reproductive age towards early detection of cervical cancer in Muara Kaman Ulu Village in 2023.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers’ perceptions of literacy develpoment at state elementary School 124 Palembang in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. Using a qualitative approach through the case study method, data were  obtained through in depth interviews and observations of ten teachers who were directly involved in teaching literacy. The result of this study show that the majority of teachers have a positive perception of the flexibility  offered by Merdeka curriculum in developing literacy. Limited despite being faced with a number of challenges such as lack of resources and limited training. This study provides important insight regarding the factors that influences the successful implementation of the independent curriculum in developing literacy in elemtary school. The novelty of this research lies in understanding how teachers perceptions of literacy developmentcan be integrated into the independent curriculum at the elemetary school level. The contribution of this study is to provided insight for policy makers and school regarding the important of greater support, both in term of resources and training, to strengthen literacy implementation in this flexible curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of character education at SD Negeri 105 Palembang within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was gathered through observations, interviews with 10 teachers and 15 parents, and questionnaires distributed to 30 students. The findings reveal that character education, in line with the values of the Pancasila Student Profile, has been effectively incorporated, although there are challenges such as limited resources and a lack of parental involvement. Teachers utilize flexible teaching strategies, like project-based learning, to instill values such as collaboration, independence, and creativity. This study demonstrates how the flexibility of the Merdeka Curriculum enables a more adaptive and personalized approach to character education in elementary schools. The results also stress the importance of stronger collaboration between schools, parents, and the community to optimize students' character development. This research contributes to the discussion on character education in Indonesia, particularly within the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, which offers more opportunities for teachers to innovate and develop education that meets students' needs. The study provides insights into how character education can be implemented within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 105 Palembang.
