Abstract

Information System of PPA Scholarship Registration at Department of Computer Science Faculty of Mathematic and Natural Science Universitas Lampung by applying Sorting Algorithm Quick Sort and Selection Sort is a system that is used to ease the processing of shcolarship data. A student who participates the selection of PPA scholarship registration at Department of Computer Science has to enter the registration data on this system, so that the Secretary of Department doesn’t need to enter the applicant’s scholarship registration data anymore. This system can also rank automatically by using two sorting methods Quick Sort and Selection Sort. This system is built by using PHP as the programming languange and MySQL. Based on running time sort and complexity of its algorithm, it’s proved that Quick Sort Method is faster that Selection Sort Method. The result of functional testing data shows that the system can function in accordance with the requirement analysis. Based on non-fuctional testing data, it shows that at admin level of this system is include in category of “Good” with the average value of 4.20 and user (student) level of this system is include in category of “Good” with the average value of 3.97.

Abstract

The development of technology and the internet allows everyone to exchange data andinformation. Problems arise when the information is confidential, especially for a company,institution and also individuals who have important documents and data. Therefore, the securityof the data is a must. In this case cryptography plays a role of encrypting secret messages intothe form of unreadable messages and steganography that hides the irregular messages into theimage media, resulting in double security in the delivery of secret messages. In this research wedevelop a hybrid system using Vigenere and AMELSBR with cover media in the form of (.jpg)format as input (cover), file type (.png) as output (stegoimage) and data be inserted as a file withtext format. The conclusion of this research is that the hybrid system can be used to encrypt thesecret message and hide it into the cover media to make it more secure in data transmission.Therefore, the use of AMELSBR method is good used in steganography. Stegoimage canwithstand the process of manipulating the brightness and contrast with the image record musthave the dominant black color value (rgb (0,0,0)) or white (rgb (255,255,255)) and not manycolor variants, in other words the image can restore the file without experiencing excessivereduction of meaning after the manipulation of brightness and contrast is an image with binaryimage quality and grayscale image.

Abstract

This study developed a Decision Support System (DSS) by utilizing Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Method as a process in selection of employees acquisition. This selection process used several criteria (multicriteria) to choose which applicants will be accepted. This Decision Support System (DSS) helps managers of Human Resources (HR) in deciding which applicants will be selected. In this application, there are criteria used and the weight of those criteria. This application of module business process will be able to generate the rank of each applicant based on the final amount. The applicant who has the greatest value will be given a better rank and it means that the applicant has criteria in accordance with company’s requirement. In addition, Web Service as a business process of payroll modules. In this process, a set of functions or methods which contained on a server can exchange data and information using an operating system and application that different from each other through the internet that uses XML as the format of message delivery. This system constructed by using PHP and MySQL as language. The result of functional testing data based on test case testing shows that the system can work "in accordance" with its analysis.

Abstract

Every educational institution of Vocational High School periodically carries out the admission of new students. With the existence of Decision Support System is expected to assist schools in selecting new students. There are various methods in constructing a DSS and one of them is the method of AHP. AHP is one of DSS method that can handle the multi criteria selection. By using the result of DSS with AHP method as sample data and find the biggest criteria factor in a selection. The result of this study indicates that AHP method can be implemented in information system of new students admission and it can help to make decisions in the placement of departments based on the ability of students and the selected department.Keywords: Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), Decision Support System (DSS)

Abstract

Every institute, office or college must have filing activities in its business process. One of the lecture filing activities at the college is the preparation of lecture devices. The lecture device is very important and becomes a reference in every learning of a course. Nowadays, the preparation of lecture devices is still done manually and lecture filing activities will be a problem if there is no system that handles these activities, one of which is data search and storage space. The lecture filing information system has been developed to assist in the preparation and search for lecture devices. This information system was developed with Waterfall methods and Laravel framework. The conclusion of this research is the lecture filing information system is successfully built and can be used to help the preparation and search activities of lecture devices.
