Abstract

Management of gender responsive educational facilities is an important issue that needs serious attention because the management of gender-responsive infrastructure can provide space to ensure the fulfillment of women's and men's rights based on their specific needs so as to create a sense of security and comfort for each user. IAIN Jember is required to pay attention to the specific needs of men and women so that dominance does not occur, does not cause difficulties for certain sexes in the use of infrastructure. Indicators of gender responsive infrastructure include the provision of separate toilets, child care and nursing rooms, provision of closed ablution places, closed prayer rooms, ideal 17 cm staircase facilities, CCTV and adequate lighting. The management of gender responsive educational facilities is needed to realize gender justice and equality, support reproductive and cultural functions. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The technique of collecting data uses observation, interviews and document study. Data analysis using interactive analysis. The validity of the data used source triangulation and method triangulation. The results showed that: the prayer room for employees tends to be open so there is no privacy, there are wheelchairs for students with disabilities, and there is no separate toilet for male and female employees. Pengelolaan sarana pendidikan responsif gender merupakan isu penting yang perlu mendapat perhatian serius karena pengelolaan prasarana tanggap gender dapat memberikan ruang untuk menjamin pemenuhan hak perempuan dan laki-laki berdasarkan kebutuhan spesifiknya sehingga tercipta rasa aman dan nyaman bagi setiap pengguna. IAIN Jember dituntut untuk memperhatikan kebutuhan khusus laki-laki dan perempuan agar tidak terjadi dominasi, tidak menyulitkan jenis kelamin tertentu dalam penggunaan infrastruktur. Indikator infrastruktur responsif gender antara lain penyediaan toilet terpisah, ruang penitipan anak dan menyusui, penyediaan tempat wudhu tertutup, mushola tertutup, fasilitas tangga ideal 17 cm, CCTV dan penerangan yang memadai. Pengelolaan fasilitas pendidikan responsif gender diperlukan untuk mewujudkan keadilan dan kesetaraan gender, mendukung fungsi reproduksi dan budaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan metode triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : mushollah untuk karyawan cenderung terbuka sehingga tidak ada privasi, terdapat kursi roda bagi mahasiswa difabel. Kursi roda ini berada di poli klinik kampus, dan tidak ada pemisahan toilet bagi karyawan laki-laki dan perempuan.

Abstract

Human resource planning (HR) is the first and strategic step in supporting the quality of the language excellence program at Nurul Jadid High School. This process involves analyzing human resources needs by identifying the number, type, and competencies needed to support the program. The main focus of this study is to ensure the existence of educators who have adequate language skills (Arabic, English, and Mandarin) and superior pedagogical skills. Human resource placement is an important stage in workforce management, especially in flagship programs such as the Language Program at Nurul Jadid High School. The evaluation of work values aims to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of educators in supporting language excellence programs. Structured assessment can provide valuable feedback for improvement

Abstract

Koperasi Mahasiswa (KOPMA) berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk mengembangkan potensi mahasiswa dan berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan bakat dan minat dalam berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi perencanaan, organisasi, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan KOPMA dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kewirausahaan mahasiswa UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember. Penelitian dilakukan di UIN KHAS Jember yang berlokasi di Jl. Mataram No.1, Karang Miuwo, Mangli, Kecamatan Kaliwates, Kabupaten Jember, dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa perencanaan strategis menekankan pada pengembangan minat kewirausahaan mahasiswa melalui pelatihan industri kreatif, seperti pembuatan karangan bunga, studi bisnis, dan kolaborasi dengan pemangku kepentingan eksternal. Struktur yang terorganisir dengan divisi seperti PSDA, Usaha, dan INFOKOM memfasilitasi pelaksanaan program yang efektif, dengan fokus pada pelatihan, pemasaran produk, dan promosi. Implementasi program memanfaatkan sinergi lintas divisi, menggabungkan sistem point-of-sale, pemasaran digital, dan kolaborasi eksternal untuk meningkatkan keterampilan jaringan dan bisnis. Evaluasi dan pemantauan rutin memastikan efektivitas program, meningkatkan partisipasi, dan mendorong perbaikan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) plays a strategic role in equipping students (santri) with relevant skills amidst the challenges of the global economy, particularly in addressing the persistently high unemployment rate in Indonesia, which reached 5.86% in 2023. This article explores how Pondok Pesantren Assuniyyah Kencong Jember taps into the creative potential of its students through an entrepreneurship education approach. The research employs qualitative methods to understand the dynamics of the entrepreneurship learning process. Through in-depth interviews and participatory observations, it was found that the integration of entrepreneurship education into the curriculum not only enhances technical and managerial skills but also encourages students to think creatively and innovatively in response to economic challenges. The findings indicate that a supportive environment, along with guidance from mentors and local entrepreneurs, significantly contributes to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit among the students. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of entrepreneurship education models in other Islamic boarding schools and strengthen efforts to reduce poverty through the creation of ethical and competitive new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe how these four aspects are applied in an effort to improve the efficiency and quality of services. The approach used in this study is qualitative with a case study method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The validity of the data is guaranteed through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results of the study show that: 1) Planning is carried out by establishing policies through a Decree by the head of the madrasah, supported by the preparation of SOPs by the head of TU as a work guideline. 2) Organizing includes three forms of service: a) Oral, in the form of information conveyed in a friendly and clear manner; b) Writing, in the form of orderly and accurate management of official documents; c) Acts, in the form of direct service by officers with a friendly, empathetic, and professional attitude. 3) Implementation is improved through the implementation of the Srikandi application which facilitates coordination, archiving, and monitoring services in real-time according to SOPs. 4) The evaluation was initially done manually using the suggestion box, then switched to an online complaint system through the Srikandi app, which increased the transparency and effectiveness of service monitoring. This study concludes that the implementation of digital-based PTSP in MTsN 2 Bondowoso is able to increase the efficiency, transparency, and accountability of education administration services.

Abstract

The Madrasah Head has three important roles in building school branding, namely, the role of the Madrasah Head as a manager, the role of the Madrasah Head as a leader, and the role of the Madrasah Head as an entrepreneur. School branding is a word that comes from the word brand which means brand. In the educational environment, apart from improving the quality of education, school branding is also something that must be done by any Madrasah. School branding is the image of the Madrasah towards the community. Apart from having a positive impact on the Madrasah, school branding also includes communication between the Madrasah and the general public to attract the interest of students. The aim of this research is to describe the role of the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jember as a manager, leader, entrepreneur in building school branding. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis using interactive model qualitative analysis. Data validity uses technical triagulation and source triagulation. The results of this research show, first, the role of the Madrasah Head as manager in building school branding is carried out in a structured manner, starting from; planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising. Second, the role of the Madrasah Head as a leader in building school branding, namely by providing direction, building communication, being brave in decision making, and motivating. Third, the role of the Madrasah Head as an entrepreneur in building school branding, namely through innovation, being proactive in taking firm action, daring to take risks, aggressively competing, and autonomy.Kepala Madrasah memiliki tiga peran penting dalam membangun school branding yaitu, peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai manager, peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai leader, dan peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai enterpreneur. School branding merupakan sebuah kata yang berasal dari kata brand yang berarti merk. Dalam lingkungan pendidikan selain meningkatka mutu pendidikan, School branding juga merupakan hal yang harus dilakukan oleh Madrasah manapun. School branding adalah pencitraan Madrasah terhadap masyarakat, selain berdapak positif terhadap Madrasah, school branding juga mencakup komunikasi Madrasah dengan masyarakat umum untuk menarik daya minat peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan Peran Kepala Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jember sebagai manager, leader, enterpreneur dalam membangun school branding. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deksriptif, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan analisis kualitatif model interaktif. Keabsahan data menggunakan triagulasi teknik dan triagulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, pertama, Peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai manager dalam membangun school branding dilakukan secara terstruktur yakni dimulai dari; perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Kedua, Peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai leader dalam membangun school branding yakni dengan memberikan pengarahan, membangun komunikasi, berani dalam pengambilan keputusan, dan motoivasi. Ketiga, Peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai enterpreneur dalam membangun school branding yakni melalui inovasi, proaktif dalam mengambil tindakan tegas, berani mengambil resiko, agresif berkopetisi, dan otonomi.
