Abstract

Human resource is one company that has a value of initiative and have a role as well in theuse of other resources that exist within the company. The concern is how the company'senterprise utilizing human resources in order to work effectively and efficiently inachieving corporate goals. Discipline as a dynamic condition in which individuals arefaced with opportunities, constraints and desires and the results obtained are veryimportant but it can not be ascertained. And one of the problems the company is applyingthe rules to improve the discipline of employees that affect the employee's job performance.According to Sutrisno Discipline is respect for the rules and regulations of the company,which is inside of employees, which causes it to be able to adjust to the provisions of thecompany voluntarily. The formulation of this problem is how the discipline of employeework in the field of PT. Bangaumas Perkasa Siak Sri Indrapura. The purpose of this studywas to determine and explain the discipline of employees at PT. Bangaumas Perkasa SiakSri Indrapura and knowing the obstacles in enforcing discipline in the company working onthe PT. Bangaumas Perkasa Siak Sri Indrapura. This type of research is quantitative type,the research emphasizes on the analysis of numerical data (numbers) are processed withstatistical methods, so as to obtain the significance of the relationship between variables.Methods of data collection was done by a list of questions (quisioner), interviews,observation, and documentation. The operational variables of this research is the disciplineof working hours, discipline dressed and behaved, disciplined task and cooperation withother units, and disciplined about what not to do at work. The results of this research to thediscipline of working hours is good enough, while discipline well dressed and well behavedthe result is not good, disciplined task and cooperation with other units is good enough,and discipline about what not to do when working the results is good enough. Theconclusion of the study showed that the implementation of employees work discipline in thePT. Bangaumas Perkasa is good enough.

Abstract

This study analyzes the theme of empowerment of small and medium enterprises producing productsmade from sago in the Village District of Tebing Tinggi vast Meranti Islands regency in Riau province.Sago contain carbohydrates and may be an alternative to the staple food rice paddy fields began todecrease, or as food additives other than rice. This means that the potential of sago as an alternative torice big enough. During this time the production of sago sago farmers and SMEs in the District Merantiintended to meet local market and surrounding areas as well as sold to various regions in Indonesia,including the export opportunities are not limited to the countries neighboring Malaysia but also to othercountries. Research on sago as a staple food alternatives is urgent. With the reason that most people donot properly understand the uses and benefits of corn as the raw material processed foods. As a result,the cultivation of sago is not optimized because the market demand is still small. This study aims toidentify the potential of SMEs producing products made from sago didesa vast Tebing Tinggi District ofMeranti Islands regency, efforts to diversify the food products made from sago results micro-entrepreneurs or SMEs to be more diverse. Includes also examined the potential development of themarket to make it more comprehensive, and the efforts - efforts to empower sago entrepreneurs throughbusiness and production management system better by the Department of Industry, Trade, MerantiIslands District Koperasidan SMEs through capital assistance, support equipment and training.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and describe the performance monitoring of the Pekanbaru City Health Office regarding the issuance of business permits for business actors who wish to or have already established a pharmacy. The urgency of this research is because field data shows that there are still many pharmacies in Pekanbaru that are operating but do not have business licenses. The author uses William Dunn's monitoring function concept to analyze the performance monitoring of the Pekanbaru City Health Office regarding the operation of pharmacy business permits, specifically the compliance, auditing, explanation, and accounting indicators. This research was conducted at the Pekanbaru City Health Department using a descriptive-qualitative research type and method, so the data obtained will be analyzed qualitatively and discussed descriptively. Monitoring the performance of the Pekanbaru City Health Office regarding the issuance of pharmacy permits is quite well implemented because the research results for the compliance indicator have been met and the explanation indicator is quite well implemented. Meanwhile, the auditing indicator has not been implemented as it should be, and the accounting indicator has also not been implemented.

Abstract

This research aims to find out about the implementation of the harbormaster's duties at the Class III Harbormaster and Authority Office of Sungai Duku Port, Pekanbaru. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, uses interviews, observations and is supplemented by literature study. In this research, the author uses four indicators to describe the success or failure of the harbor master in carrying out his duties, namely communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure indicator's. The results of this research are that the implementation hasn't been carried out optimally. This is because the communication between Harbormaster's Office officers and passengers is limited to checking passenger tickets and providing ship departure schedules. Then, direct physical feasibility tests of ships cannot be carried out thoroughly, due to a lack of human resources. Furthermore, there is a lack of awareness among officers regarding the implementation of all their obligations. In terms of, the bureaucratic structure indicator's has been, actually formed as it should be, but in practice, even though the tasks have been carried out in accordance with the respective division of tasks, but in fact the implementation still not effective and efficient.
