Abstract

Diabetes, a chronic condition caused by the body’s incapacity to generate or apply insulin as it should, is characterized by elevated blood sugar. If not treated early, the disease can lead to serious complications. This research aims to implement a machine learning-based classification model to predict diabetes, applying the methodology known as CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining). The dataset was obtained from the Health Center of Sukatani Village, Rajeg, with a total of 2,075 records and 21 columns. The SMOTE-Tomek Links resampling technique was used to resolve the data’s class imbalance. Five classification algorithms, Naive Bayes, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN), were compared in this study. Experiments revealed that the Random Forest algorithm performed the best with 97% accuracy, which increased to 99.64% after the application of SMOTE-Tomek Links. This best model was implemented in a web-based application using the Streamlit framework. The combination of the CRISP-DM approach, Random Forest algorithm, and SMOTE-Tomek Links proved to be effective in predicting diabetes, so that it can help medical personnel and the community in preventing, managing, and monitoring diabetes optimally.

Abstract

Service teachers play a crucial role in Islamic boarding schools by imparting the knowledge and values they acquired during their studies. At Al-Kamil Islamic Boarding School, the selection of these service teachers is conducted annually to ensure only the most competent and ethically grounded candidates are chosen. Traditionally, this selection has been performed manually, which introduces several challenges, including subjectivity, inefficiency, and inconsistencies in evaluation. These limitations can compromise the fairness and transparency of the process, potentially leading to biased outcomes and reduced institutional credibility. To address these issues, this study proposes the implementation of a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) utilizing the Weighted Product (WP) method to support the teacher selection process. The WP method is particularly effective in multi-criteria decision-making, as it applies multiplicative weights to criterion scores, enabling a comprehensive and balanced evaluation of each candidate. In this application, 14 candidates are assessed based on eight criteria: morality, academic performance, craftsmanship, Quran memorization, achievements, understanding of classical Islamic texts, language skills, and computer literacy. The system calculates a preference score for each candidate using vector S and vector V normalization processes. The top three candidates identified are Arizkia Aulia (V = 0.07377), Zaskia Faliza (V = 0.07279), and Zulfa Nisa (V = 0.07231). The integration of this WP-based DSS enhances the objectivity, fairness, and efficiency of decision-making. Furthermore, it provides a replicable and scalable framework for educational institutions seeking to implement structured and data-driven staff selection processes.

Abstract

At this time in the world of work or in job management workers are required to be able to solve problems that mean that in education and psychology management must be able to build or develop instruments in all fields of management. The development of measurement instruments in the field of psychology and education many assume the use of unidimensional measurements, which conceptually formulated that there is one type of ability factor, personality, character, and attitude measured by one measurement instrument. This study aims to allow readers to understand the notions of reliability, reliability of learning outcomes tests, general models of reliability, simple methods of estimating reliability, retesting methods, parallel methods, halves, moment product equations, Flanagan equations, Rulon equations, reliability coefficients , and standard measurement errors. In order for this management research to take place smoothly, the researcher uses the literature study method as his research method. Abstract

Good scientific work must have data that is not surprising or real facts. In managing this work, significant research methods are needed. However, some management uses in research are still not maximal and do not know the limitations of qualitative research. For example, are there researchers who do not yet know clearly what forms of management will be qualitative. Qualitative forms are often referred to as in accordance with quality. In this study will discuss the management of qualitative, qualitative, qualitative, and qualitative research. The existence of this study is expected to be used in research as well as using qualitative research procedures. Keywords: management, qualitative research, perspective.
