Abstract

The advancement of technological development in the digital business world proliferates from time to time. The use of Internet networks for daily needs is increasing rapidly, especially for buying and selling transactions. Therefore, live shopping technology has emerged as a new shopping trend nowadays. This study used qualitative methodology by doing a literature review of 20 relevant international journals published between 2019 and 2023. The database used for this systematic literature review is Scopus. This study aims to define live-streaming shopping and purchase intention and find its influence on purchase intention from prior studies. This study aims to systematically review factors influencing consumers’ purchase intention in live-streaming shopping. The findings indicate that live-streaming shopping significantly impacts viewers’ purchase intention through various factors, including interactivity between viewers and streamers, engagement, trust, price, promotion strategies, influencers, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL). Furthermore, the study reveals that most prior research in this area applied a quantitative approach using PLS-SEM or CB-SEM. However, existing literature suggests that future research should incorporate mixed-methodology to gain a more comprehensive understanding. This study contributes by highlighting the correlation between live-streaming shopping and purchase intention, as well as the dominant research methodologies used in previous studies. The findings provide valuable insights for businesses and researchers in understanding consumer behavior in live-streaming shopping environments.

Abstract

This study emphasizes how important literacy communities are to promoting a literacy culture in Kota Semarang, especially Bookclub Semarang.  In light of Indonesia's inadequate national literacy performance, as evidenced by the 2022 PISA ratings, Bookclub Semarang has emerged as a novel platform for the community to improve literacy and knowledge. Interviews with members and management demonstrate that the programs provided by Bookclub Semarang efficiently meet the educational demands of the city's population.  Regular efforts like Baca Buku Bareng (Reading Together) facilitate reading and book discussions while fostering good social relationships and a sense of belonging among participants. Innovative strategies are essential to maintain member involvement, organizational leadership, and community continuity. This study suggests program innovation strategies for community management and activities using SWOT analysis and innovation ambition matrix mapping. These tactics seek to enhance involvement among members and staff, guarantee the community's sustainability, and promote inclusion in nurturing reading interest throughout all demographics of Semarang's population.  In the long run, these initiatives are anticipated to enhance the community's overall influence on literacy advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to identify personalization strategies in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) and evaluate their impact on learner engagement, completion rates, and learning outcomes. The research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the PRISMA approach, with articles sourced from the Scopus database and selected based on relevance, publication type, and time range (2015–2024). From an initial 20,230 articles, a systematic screening process resulted in 34 articles included in the final analysis. The findings indicate that personalization strategies, such as adaptive learning pathways, AI-based recommendation systems, and learning analytics, contribute to enhancing the learning experience in MOOCs. However, their effectiveness depends on system design and learner characteristics. Additionally, challenges such as technological gaps and resource limitations remain major obstacles to implementation. This study provides insights for MOOC developers in designing more effective and inclusive learning systems.
