Abstract

ABSTRAKSecara umum kecelakaan di tempat wisata pantai selatan pulau Jawa cukup tinggi. Sebagian besar kecelakaan tersebut memiliki ciri yang sama yaitu terseret oleh ombak laut selatan. Padahal bila dilihat di lokasi wisata sudah terdapat informasi yang berisi peringatan bahaya ombak pantai selatan berupa informasi keselamatan (signage). Dari kondisi tersebut tampak bahwa signage yang terdapat di tempat wisata pantai selatan cenderung diabaikan oleh wisatawan. Hal ini terbukti dari sejumlah dokumentasi langsung di lapangan. Pertanyaan penelitian ini adalah adakah cara untuk meningkatkan perhatian wisatawan atas signage yang ada. Maka dari itu dilaksanakan kajian yang meliputi proses observasi, pendekatan uji survei, serta analisis atas hasil uji survei untuk mengetahui pendapat wisatawan terhadap informasi keselamatan. Kajian ini memanfaatkan faktor budaya terkait dengan interaksi wisatawan dengan lingkungan yang terdapat di lokasi penelitian. Faktor budaya yang dikaji adalah yang memiliki pengaruh perilaku serta masih diperhatikan oleh wisatawan secara umum yaitu mitos dan artefak budaya. Fokus kajian ini adalah menggali dasar teori atas variabel survei berbasis perilaku yang akan diujikan kepada responden yaitu wisatawan, sehingga bila hal tersebut dapat diujikan dan dianalisa maka terdapat kemungkinan peningkatan perhatian wisatawan pada signage keselamatan. Metodologi dalam kajian ini analisa atas hasil survei menggunakan uji survei kuantitatif atas stimulan visual untuk membuktikan tingkat perhatian wisatawan atas pembaharuan desain signage pada informasi keselamatan wisata tersebut.Kata Kunci: rambu wisata, informasi keselamatan, perilaku budaya.ABSTRACTIn general crash on the south coast of Java island tour is quite high. Most accidents that have the same characteristics are swept away in the southern ocean. In fact, when viewed in the tourist sites that contain information already contained warnings of danger waves south coast of information safety (signage). From these conditions it appears that the signage located on the south coast tourist spots tend to be ignored by tourists. This is evident from a number of documentation directly in the field. This research question is there any way to increase the attention of tourists over the existing signage. Therefore conducted a study which includes the process of observation, survey testing approach, as well as the analysis of the test results to find out the opinion surveys of tourists to the safety information. This study utilizes cultural factors related to tourist interaction with the environment found in the study site. Cultural factors studied is that influence behavior and is still considered by tourists in general that myths and cultural artifacts. The focus of this study is to explore the basic theory of behavior based on survey variables to be tested to respondent that are tourists, so if it can be tested and analyzed so there is an increased likelihood of tourist attention on safety signage. The methodology in this study an analysis of the survey results using test a quantitative survey of visual stimulants to prove the level of attention of tourists on the renewal design of signage on the travel safety information.Keywords: tourist signs, safety information, cultural behavior.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan dan menjelaskan tentang pentingnya upaya peningkatan profesionalisme dai dalam menghadapi era society 5.0. Ada dua tantangan besar yang dihadapi masyarakat Indonesia, yakni era revolusi industri 4.0 dan era society 5.0. Hadirnya dua peradaban baru tersebut memunculkan trend baru dalam bidang teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, sehingga masyarakat Indonesia mudah mendapatkan informasi. Masyarakat juga dapat mengakses internet dengan bebas dan saling terkoneksi dengan cepat. Dampaknya, terjadi infiltrasi budaya asing dan tersebarnya paham keagaaman yang bertolakbelakang dengan kepribadian bangsa. Kondisi tersebut menuntut para dai untuk dapat mengembangkan dakwah yang lebih transformatif, responsif, dan adaptif. Artikel ini diperkuat dengan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi pustaka dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Beberapa sumber data dari berbagai literatur mempertajam analisa mengenai profesionalisme dai di era society 5.0. Setidaknya ada sembilan kompetensi yang dapat meningkatkan profesionalisme dai di era ini, diantaranya; creative, critical thinking, leadership, digital literacy, emotional intelligence, entrepreneurship, global citizenship, problem solving, dan team working. Profil daisebagai komunikator dan konten kreator mutlak diperlukan, karena tingginya aksesbilitas masyarakat terhadap konten media sosial.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan konteks komunikasi dan perilaku bermedia netizen di akun instagram Jokowi. Ada dua permasalahan mendasar yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini yakni; 1) tingginya partisipasi netizen dalam merespon status dan postingan di akun jokowi; 2) munculnya variasi komentar netizen yang berupa dukungan dan ujaran kebencian. Oleh sebab itu, untuk menganalisa secara mendalam permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini didukung oleh pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode etnografi komunikasi. Metode ini digunakan untuk menemukan alasan (motif) dan konteks peristiwa komunikasi yang muncul dari dua komunitas virtual tersebut. Data atau informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini didasarkan pada konteks perilaku masyarakat tutur yang terjadi di kolom komentar di akun instagram Jokowi. Netizen yang aktif berargumen dan memberikan pernyataan dalam kolom komentar tersebut dianalisa dengan dan konsep, yakni konsep maksim kebijaksanaan dan maksim penghargaan. Ada kelompok atau komunitas yang suka memberi komentar negatif dan ada juga komunitas yang memberi respon positif.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital literacy design based on local wisdom so that it can support social harmony in rural communities in Bangka Regency. The development of this literacy design is motivated by the high accessibility of rural communities to the use of the internet and social media, but it is not accompanied by good digital literacy skills. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method by adapting the Thiagarajan development cycle model which consists of four 4-D stages (define, design, develop, and disseminate). At the define stage, observations and interviews were carried out on several informants, the result was that five findings were analyzed and identified for the next stage. In the design stage, eight digital literacy components were obtained which were adapted from the Digital Literacy Across the Curriculum and adapted the Wilbur Schramm matrix format for media development, the result was that there were nine media formats that were relevant to use for local wisdom- based digital literacy. At the development stage, a small-scale test was carried out on 15 respondents, the percentage of the practicality of the media was on average 85.5%, meaning that the media was very practical to use, while in the large-scale test on 30 respondents, an average of 93.7% was obtained, the percentage of practicality the highest is in the aspects of interest and material literacy. Specifically for the development of the material aspects, there are 6 themes that are prioritized to support social harmonization in rural communities in Bangka Regency, including; 1) religious moderation, 2) tolerance, 3) prevention of hoaxes (fake news); 4) hate speech; 5) racial issues, and 6) prevention of the doctrine of religious radicalism.Keywords : Digital Literacy, Social Harmony, Local Wisdom, Rural Community

Abstract

Islamic therapeutic communication tries to give positive suggestions to patients by carrying out good communication interaction activities that in sickness and the problems of life there is a very big wisdom behind it. Therapeutic communication that is built will have a tremendous psychological impact on people who are sick or are experiencing very severe problems. Therefore, Islamic therapeutic communication is very important to restore the psychological state of someone who was originally down and then has the spirit again. Analysis and Steps of Therapeutic Communication in da'wah is essentially a form of interpersonal communication that is specifically aimed at the recovery process or certain therapy. Therapeutic communication in principle is professional communication that leads to goals, which are aimed at fostering a therapeutic relationship between nurses and clients, characterized by the exchange of behaviors, feelings, thoughts, and experiences in fostering therapeutic intimate relationships within a limited scope.

Abstract

This article describes the concept of digitizing da'wah based on visual communication design. The advancement of information and communication technology disrupts various aspects of life including how to preach the da'i. This is both a challenge and an opportunity for preachers to develop da'wa media that are relevant to today's civilization. One of the concepts offered is a visual communication design. This design concept is very relevant to today's conditions (digital era) and can be a reference for preachers, especially for packaging creative and interesting da'wah content on various social media platforms. This article is enriched with literature studies to clarify the concept of visual communication and its relation to da'wah. The observation technique is used to provide an overview of the portrait of visual communication design which is applied in the preaching of Facebook, YouTube, and the website. As a result, there are four social media that can be used as a media for preaching based on visual communication, namely, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and YouTube. Furthermore, there are three forms of digital communication based on visual communication that is widely used in social media, namely da'wah posters, da'wah cartoons, and da'wah videos.

Abstract

This article describes the reality of freedom of preaching on social media. The research approach used in this study is qualitative descriptive with a critical paradigm. There are two focus of the study approach used, namely; 1) participatory culture approach, to know the characteristics of the Youtube da'wah channel, 2) a new media impact analysis approach, to analyze the problem of da'i and mad'u millennial in the context of da'wah activities on the Youtube channel. The results of this study indicate that da'wah activities on the da'wah Youtube channel consist of 4 (four) types, namely: 1) Youtube channels affiliated with community organizations; 2) Youtube channels that are managed independently by da'i; 3) youtube channel managed by da'wah community; 4) Youtube channels managed by Vloggers or other Youtuber. Also, there are threats behind the freedom to preach on social media, including; easy spread of provocative preaching messages, slander, hoax, and veiled radical understanding. The solution to the threat is; 1) the corrective approach of the da'i through Youtube channels; 2) the participation of da'i affiliates to oversee da'wah content that is inappropriate and contrary to humanist, moderate and transformative da'wah.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal and describe the pattern of collaboration carried out by the IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung KPI Study Program with several partner institutions in improving the competence of graduates. It is undeniable that the increase in competence and expertise possessed by graduates is an important factor in the absorption of alumni in the world of work. There are two main problems revealed in this article, namely how the partnership pattern built by the study program in improving the competence of graduates and how the principles of cooperation can be applied by the study program. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to explore hidden information in depth about the forms of collaboration that have been carried out by the study program. As a result, there are several important findings that are analyzed in depth including; 1) the form of cooperation carried out by the IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung KPI study program is still dominated by the form of professional practice activities; 2) not all cooperative relationships with partner institutions have binding legality; and 3) competency development in this study program is still one-way. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan menggambarkan pola kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi KPI IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung dengan beberapa lembaga mitra dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa peningkatan kompetensi dan keahlian yang dimiliki oleh lulusan menjadi faktor penting terserapnya alumni di dunia kerja. Ada dua permasalahan utama yang diungkap dalam artikel ini ialah bagaimana pola kemitraan yang dibangun oleh program studi dalam meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan dan bagaimana prinsip-prinsip kerjasama yang dapat diterapkan oleh program studi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif untuk menggali informasi yang tersembunyi secara mendalam mengenai bentuk kerjasama yang telah dilakukan oleh program studi. Hasilnya, ada beberapa temuan penting yang dianalisa secara mendalam diantaranya; 1) bentuk kerjasama yang dilakukan program studi KPI IAIN SAS Bangka Belitung masih didominasi dalam bentuk kegiatan praktik profesi; 2) tidak semua hubungan kerjasama dengan lembaga mitra memiliki legalitas hukum yang saling mengikat; dan 3) pengembangan kompetensi di program studi ini masih bersifat satu arah.

Abstract

Corak budaya, bahasa, dan adat istiadat masyarakat suku Rejang menunjukkan bahwa bangsa Indonesia memiliki kearifan lokal yang bernilai sangat tinggi. Suku Rejang juga dikenal sebagai salah satu suku tertua yang ada di Sumatera. Karakteristik budaya, adat istiadat, dan pola komunikasi masyarakat suku Rejang sangat menarik untuk diteliti  dan ditelaah secara mendalam. Oleh karena itu tepatlah jika metode etnografi komunikasi menjadi landasan utama untuk mengkaji secara mendalam pola komunikasi masyarakat adat suku Rejang. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan memahami bentuk-bentuk komunikasi, norma komunikasi, dan kode-kode komunikasi yang terbentuk dalam upacara adat perkawinan suku Rejang. Data kualitatif pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui berbagai macam teknik pengumpulan data, seperti; wawancara dengan narasumber, analisis dokumen tentang kondisi geografis dan demografis masyarakat suku Rejang, observasi yang telah dituangkan dalam catatan lapangan (transkrip). Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk komunikasi pada upacara adat perkawinan suku rejang terdiri dari dua bentuk komunikasi yakni, komunikasi verbal dan nonverbal.
