Abstract

SMP PGRI Blungun has a computer practice room which is only used for computer-based national exams (UNBK). This condition is very unfortunate to see that there are Skills/Information and Communication Technology lessons. In this lesson the teacher only provides theory without any practical work. Success in education is supported by computer skills or digital literacy. It cannot be denied that information and communication technology is a primary need for many groups. Training on the introduction and use of Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point). This is one of the computer skills activities that can prepare you for entering the world of work. As a result of the training, students were able to operate MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Power Point, where previously students had never operated Microsoft Office. The training also produces practicum modules that can be used by students to improve skills, as well as increase students' interest in learning to use computers or digital literacy.

Abstract

This research was conducted to evaluate the effect of varying depth of cut on vibration levels and surface roughness during the turning process of AISI 4140 steel. The experiments were carried out using a lathe machine equipped with a carbide cutting tool, a spindle speed of 265 rpm, and a feed rate of 0.1 mm/rev. The depth of cut was varied at 0.5 mm, 1 mm, and 1.5 mm. Experimental results indicated that increasing the depth of cut significantly influenced the rise in vibration and surface roughness values. At a depth of 0.5 mm, the recorded vibration was 0.4 mm/s with a surface roughness (Ra) of 4.074 µm. Meanwhile, at depths of 1 mm and 1.5 mm, vibration increased to 1.1 mm/s and 1.8 mm/s, with surface roughness values of 4.216 µm and 5.758 µm, respectively. These findings suggest that greater depths of cut lead to higher cutting forces, which in turn elevate both vibration and surface roughness. Therefore, selecting appropriate machining parameters is crucial to achieving optimal surface quality in turning processes

Abstract

At-Tajdid salah satu pondok pesantren (ponpes) modern yang menyiapkan Muslim Berkemajuan sebagai kader persyarikatan maupun kader bangsa yang berintegritas, sebagai penyelenggara pendidikan di dalam pondok pesantren tentunya terdapat fasilitas pendukung proses belajar mengajar santri/santriwati yang saat ini berjumlah 215 orang. Untuk akses masuk-keluar lingkungan ponpes terdapat gerbang terbuka karena belum/tidak ada pintu yang membatasi akses ke dan dari lingkungan pondok pesantren. Selama ini, siapapun bebas masuk/keluar lingkungan ponpes, baik siang maupun malam. Dengan kondisi seperti itu, maka permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra adalah kerawanan lingkungan terhadap terjadinya kejahatan, utamanya kasus pencurian di lingkungan pondok pesantren. Hal ini disebabkan tidak adanya kendali akses di pintu gerbang. Berdasarkan situasi dan kondisi yang dihadapi mitra tersebut, maka solusi dan target luaran yang ditawarkan dalam program PkM ini yaitu Mitra dibuatkan pintu atau portal yang dipasang pada gerbang pondok dengan sistem buka-tutup pintu atau portal dibuat semi-otomatis bertenaga surya guna membatasi akses masuk/keluar lingkungan pondok pesantren. Dengan adanya pembatasan tersebut, dapat memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi seluruh penghuni di lingkungan pondok pesantren, sehingga konsentrasi proses belajar mengajar meningkat.

Abstract

Almost all tapioca flour manufacturers at the home S.M.E. level, particularly in the Sidomukti district of Pati, Central Java, manufacture tapioca flour only to the final stage as a lump of tapioca flour. The results of this S.M.E. cannot be directly marketed to consumers because it must go through a process again so that the flour is smooth, so S.M.E. will sell tapioca flour lumps in the factory to be processed into ready flour to be marketed, resulting in lower profits for S.M.E.s producing tapioca flour and because there is no machine to decompose tapioca flour clumps for household production scale. Machine for breaking lumps of tapioca flour, this 1-horsepower electric motor drive is designed to alleviate challenges in S.M.E.s. This machine has a 50kg/h capacity and uses a 1:5 rotation ratio transmission mechanism via pulleys and a belt. When the electric motor is turned on, pulley one on the motor will rotate and move pulley two on the shaft, which then drives the mixer (stirrer), which will break down the flour that is put through the hopper and immediately filtered by mess, which has a hole size of 0.5 mm, and flour will come out through the output hopper that is under the body. This machine is semi-automatically operated by pushing ON to turn on and OFF to turn off. This machine will perform as intended
