Abstract

Tehnology has played as a significant role in teaching and learning. As an aspect of technology,E-learning has been believed to be an effective learning media of higher educational in institution.Pandemic Covid’19 is really having huge impact for people around the world unexpected ineducational field. In this era, the activity of teaching and learning process was changed to be anonline term. Thus, the objective of this research is to explore the effect of E learning towardstudents learning interest in Covid’19 era especially in rural area. The researcher conducted inAkademi Kebidanan Wahana Husada Bandar Jaya Central Lampung. The population of thisresearch is the students in AKBID Wahana Husada Bandar Jaya at the first semester in academicyear 2020/2021. The data collecting technique is using questionnaire, and to analysis the data, theresearcher used T-test. The finding of this research, the students more interest to join the classmeeting by E-learning. It saw by their result in fulfill the questionnaire. The result showed that Elearning is having positive effect toward students learning interest in Covid’19 era. The studentsfelt enjoy with this kind of learning.

Abstract

This paper presents the findings of qualitative study aimed at exploring teachingmethod used by the English teachers to teach speaking. Speaking has always been as one ofchallenging skill for most students. The teachers have their own characteristic on applyingmethod to teach their students speaking skill which also suit with their students need. Thesample was the English teachers and students of SMA International Budi Mulia Dua at gradeXI. The data were collected from interviewing three English teachers and six students, as wellobserving the teaching process of speaking class. This result of this study revealed theteachers and students preference on the method which is applied during speaking class. Basedon the interview and classroom observation, there are some teaching methods that were usedby the teacher to teach the student speaking.

Abstract

The Learning Support Program in Tri Tunggal Jaya Village is an initiative to reduce the impact of gadget addiction among children by providing beneficial educational alternatives. This program aims to enhance the academic, social, and emotional abilities of children through interactive learning and a holistic approach. During the program implementation, there was a significant decrease in children's gadget usage, from 5 hours per day to 2 hours per day. Evaluations also indicated a 15% improvement in academic grades and a 70% enhancement in English language proficiency. Moreover, the program successfully increased children's social skills by 75% and led to better emotional development, as reported by parents. The success of the Learning Support Program demonstrates its potential as an effective model in addressing gadget addiction issues in rural communities, emphasizing the importance of holistic education to support the comprehensive growth and development of children.
