Abstract

Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease that occurs due to the aging process that attacks the knee joint. Knee OA is characterized by the erosion of joint cartilage and the formation of new bone on the joint surface. Symptoms that occur are Morning Sickness, Start Pain, Stiffness, and pain when supporting or walking, causing functional impairment of the knee. This study aims to determine the difference in the effect of Progressive Resistance Exercise and Knee Strengthening Exercise on functional ability in patients with knee osteoarthritis. The research is Quasi Experiment while the approach used is Two Group Pre Test-Post Test Design. The study population was taken from all patients with knee OA in the Paccerakg Health Center Makassar, South Sulawesi. Samples were taken by means of Accidental Sampling, totaling 16 people and divided into two groups, namely treatment group 1 with 8 people and treatment group 2 with 8 people. The data obtained were first tested using Shapiro-Wil and the results of the pre-test value of treatment group 1 were 0.922 >α 0.05 and post-test value was 0.336 >α 0.05, treatment group 2 pre-test was 0.781 >α 0 .05 and post test 0.845 >α 0.05. The data is said to be normal if p> 0.05. Then tested with Paired Simple T-test. The results of the study in treatment group 1 were 0.007 (p<0.05) and treatment group 2 was 0.001 (p<0.05), which means that there is a difference in the effect of Progressive Resistance Exercise and Knee Strengthening Exercise interventions on functional ability in patients with knee osteoarthritis.

Abstract

Background: Nutrition problems overweight and weight less associated with decreased ability of the body both physical and mental, decreased ability to think, increased risk of pain, and slowing the healing process of disease. One form of decreased physical ability can be seen from the low stamina of a person, stamina is determined by VO2 max, VO2 max is the maximal oxygen uptake or maximal oxygen volume utilized in the exercise until the occurrence of fatigue. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship of nutritional status with VO2 max of student of Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya. Method: The method used in this research is analytic survey research method with cross sectional approach. The population in this study is all students of class 11 Madrasah Aliyah MBI class in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya as many as 24 students with 20 samples and taken by using Purposive sampling. Independent variable Nutritional status was measured using BMI calculation and max dependent variable VO2 was measured using multistage step test. Results: The result showed that students in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya mostly (55%) have normal nutritional status, the students in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya almost half (45%) have very low VO2 max. The result of statistical test showed that there was no correlation between the nutritional status with VO2 max of students of Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya p = 0,200 (p> 0,05). Conclusion: The conclusion of the research is students in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya mostly have normal nutritional status. Students in Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya some of them have VO2 max value is very less. There is no correlation between the relationship of nutritional status on VO2 max of Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School, Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dan kompetensi abad 21 dalam pembelajaran pada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI). Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode studi pustaka (library research) dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif. Sumber data utama diperoleh dari jurnal nasional dan internasional terindeks, buku ilmiah, serta regulasi pendidikan terkait kurikulum merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kurikulum Merdeka mendorong pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik melalui pendekatan berbasis proyek dan diferensiasi. Sementara itu, kompetensi abad 21—meliputi berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi—telah menjadi fondasi penting dalam pengembangan kurikulum PGMI. Integrasi antara keduanya menghasilkan peningkatan literasi teknologi, inovasi pedagogis, serta penguatan karakter mahasiswa. Namun, ditemukan pula beberapa kendala seperti kurangnya pemahaman konseptual mahasiswa terhadap profil pelajar Pancasila dan keterbatasan praktik pengajaran kolaboratif. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya pelatihan kurikulum dan pedagogi abad 21 secara berkelanjutan di lingkungan PGMI. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi referensi strategis dalam penguatan kurikulum pendidikan dasar berbasis kompetensi dan karakter.
