Abstract

Abortion is a threat or expulsion of the products of conception meeting egg and sperm cells at a gestational age of less than 20 weeks or a fetus weighing less than 500 grams, before the fetus can survive outside the womb. This is a process of ending the life of the fetus before it is given the opportunity to grow. If the fetus is born alive (live) before 28 weeks but after 20 weeks, then the term is premature birth (Manuaba, 2013). The initial survey that the researchers conducted on pregnant women at the Bebesen Health Center. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the incidence of abortion in Bebesen Public Health Center, Central Aceh District. This research is descriptive analytic, namely the research method carried out to create an objective picture of a situation. With a cross sectional approach, namely a research approach where data collection for independent variables and dependent variables is collected at the same time or within a certain period (Notoadmodjo, 2012). as many as 74 respondents (92.5%). Based on table 2, it shows that the majority of pregnant women's knowledge about the incidence of abortion at the Bebesen Health Center, Central Aceh Regency is in the less category, namely 46 respondents (57.5%) of 80 respondents. From the results of research and discussions that have been carried out on June 22 to 25, 2015, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the incidence of abortion. Where the value obtained is P value = 0.170. It is hoped that further researchers will be able to conduct research with a larger sample size and more in-depth theory so that the results achieved are more accurate.Based on the results of data collection obtained the number of respondents as many as 80 people. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership and work environment on employee performance in Correctional Institutions (Prisons), as well as the mediating role of organizational commitment. The research method used is a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis. The results show that leadership does not have a significant effect on employee performance (O = 0.193, T = 1.506, P = 0.133) but has a positive effect on organizational commitment (O = 0.633, T = 9.985, P = 0.000). Organizational commitment does not significantly influence employee performance (O = 0.022, T = 0.162, P = 0.872), while the work environment significantly influences employee performance (O = -0.349, T = 4.107, P = 0.000) but not organizational commitment (O = 0.063, T = 0.718, P = 0.473). Additionally, organizational commitment does not mediate the relationship between leadership and work environment on employee performance (O = 0.014, T = 0.158, P = 0.874; O = 0.001, T = 0.088, P = 0.930). The implications of these findings indicate that improving employee performance in prisons is not sufficient solely by enhancing leadership aspects or organizational commitment; instead, there is a need for a more conducive work environment and more effective managerial strategies. Recommendations for prison management include improving leadership competencies, enhancing workplace facilities, and implementing employee welfare programs. This study is expected to serve as a reference for academics and practitioners in the development of human resource management within correctional institutions.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the competitiveness of Jamu Wahyu Alam products through packaging standardization and innovation so they can penetrate the global market. Partners' problems include limited knowledge of international packaging standards, difficulties in designing and selecting environmentally friendly materials, and limited resources for promotion. The solutions offered are training, workshops, and mentoring related to packaging standardization, modern design innovations that also represent traditional values, and the use of environmentally friendly packaging materials according to global trends. The activity was carried out in the form of a one-month training that included needs analysis, prototype design, evaluation, and packaging finalization. The results of the activity showed an increase in partners' knowledge and skills in understanding international packaging standards, global consumer-oriented designs, and digital marketing strategies. Thus, this activity successfully helped partners in strengthening product quality, increasing sales value, and expanding international market opportunities for the local herbal medicine industry
