Abstract

The goal of this research is to find the quality service of French-speaking guidewhen they serve during the peak season in Bali, between Juli-Septembre. In another hand, according to the data of Bali’s Guide Office, there are only 235 among 8.198 French speaking guides who are competence and certified. The data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert Scale of degree 5. The data were analyzed using 5 dimensions of ServQual, and analyzed by comparing between the expectation and perception of tourists toward the quality services Bali’s French speaking guides which are: Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy. The data also analyzed by using SPSS System version 13,0. The result of-of this analysis are: the mean score of tourist expectation of quality services Bali’s French speaking guides is in 3.46, and the men score of tourist perception of quality services Bali’s French speaking guides is in 3.29. It means that tourists are not satisfied.

Abstract

The Government of Bali decided that culture tourism concepts were viewed as the ideology, spirit, guidelines, framework and solutions in developing tourism in Bali. These decisions were then legitimized in a form of provincial rules "Perda no 3, tahun 1974" concerning the cultural tourism. The relationship of tourism development and cultural development runs in harmony. It can be seen obviously that the Balinese awareness of their culture comes simultaneously as the tourism of Bali develops. The culture of Bali which is based on Hindu Relegion is implemented as a fundamental base, dominant factor and motor by which the tourism of Bali is developed.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to identify the impact of tourism development in the Jatiluwih village. Sustainable tourism development needs the wise plan in involving the local people to participate how to manage the nature, build the tourism facilities with the consideration to conserve the local people socio cultural potencies in the toutism destination. Generally some resources has been made for tourist in the tourism destinations which has been used by local people for daily life. The result of research was found through observation which is combined with Typologi Public Participation concept, Basis of Sustainable Torism Development Theoty and Democracy Based Tourism Development Theory.

Abstract

Artikel ini berupaya menemu kenali dampak pembangunan pariwisata terhadap daya tampung (carrying capacity) kondisi lingkunganfisik, sosial dan ekonomi di kawasan wisata Sanur. Pada awal tahun 30 an reputasi kawasan Sanur sebagai tempat wisata mulai terkenal semenjak kedatangan pelukis warga Negara Belgia Adrien Jean Le Mayeur de Merpres atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai Le Mayeur pada tahun 1932 dan berdomisili di Sanur. Kawasan Sanur pada waktu itu terkenal karena keindahan pantainya dengan pasirnya yang putih dan mata pencaharian penduduknya sebagai petani ( di daerah Renon) dan nelayan. Jawaban dicari melalui observasi di lapangan dan dipadukan dengan konsep dasar perencanaanfisik, konsep Typologi Partisipasi Masyarakat dan landasan teori Pembangunan Pariwisata Berkelanjutan serta Teori Pembangunan Pariwisata Berbasis Kerakyatan.

Abstract

ideally. there are at least three parties involved in planning a tourism area namely: government, tourism industries, and the local community with their interests. A tourism destination has to meet some criteria to be successful: aspects of organizational and marketing planning, product aspects, the as­pects of quality planning. Tourism development initiated with good planning is expected to give a beneficial impact on the local industry, government, and community. A good tourism planning will take into consideration in the very beginning all the possible impacts, positive or negative so that all measures can be planned in advance to anticipate them. This article overviews the plan­ning of Borobudur as a Tourism Destination.
