Abstract

Abstract

This research examines the escalating environmental degradation observed along the Tanjung Uma coastline, juxtaposing its unique challenges with the global narrative of declining coastal health. As a thriving marine ecosystem, Tanjung Uma has recently experienced considerable ecological decline, cascading effects on local biodiversity, community livelihoods, and socio-cultural dynamics. The study provides a granular understanding of the region's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats by combining a comprehensive literature review and a SWOT analysis. Findings highlight the dire state of the marine environment, driven by factors such as pollution, waste accumulation, and broader implications of climate change. However, the research also underscores the potential for regional cooperation, community engagement, and leveraging traditional knowledge as avenues for sustainable intervention. As a microcosm of global coastal challenges, Tanjung Uma's case offers insights that can inform broader strategies for marine conservation and community resilience.

Abstract

Maluku Province is an area with minimal access to sanitation because of its archipelagic location. Access to sanitation is one indicator of sustainable development goals (SDGs) that must archive in 2030. To achieve sustainable universal sanitation access, an indicator is needed that can be used to make policies that can grow access to proper sanitation. This study aims to determine the factors that can improve sanitation in Maluku Province. The development of livable housing must also pay attention to access and proper sanitation. This study used secondary data to analyze multilinear regression of socioeconomic impact on access to sanitation. Economic growth affects people's welfare. Economic growth is usually followed by a reduction in poverty, an increase in the Human Development Index (HDI), and an expansion of employment opportunities. This study uses secondary data from 2006 to 2016. Integrating human development, reducing poverty, and increasing residential ownership is needed to increase Maluku Province's sanitation access. With improved policies and better master plans for improving the quality of social variables, this variable will also affect increasing access to sanitation in Maluku Province. Better policy and programs from the central and local governments should seek to reduce poverty levels to improve access to sanitation in Maluku Province.

With documentation data collection techniques, audiovisual materials, and supported by interviews. Results of the Research: The handling of cases of land mafia practices through optimizing the role of the Land Mafia Task Force so far has never reflected the principle of prudence and respect for land rights holders. In handling land mafia cases, actions are often done arbitrarily to the detriment of the actual land rights holders that they do not reflect justice, balance, and does not protect the ownerships’ rights. The legal formula optimizes the role of the Land Mafia Task Force in preventing and eradicating land mafia practices, which is the formation of a Special Cross-Ministerial Team and Academics by making SOPs and technical instructions in carrying out activities to prevent and eradicate land mafia.

Abstract

This article analyses Donald Trump's power fantasies centered on his "Make America Great Again (MAGA)" campaign. In his 2017 inauguration, Trump depicted the U.S. as a nation in decline, needing restoration. This study shows that Trump’s MAGA narrative is crafted to address perceived national decay. Using descriptive qualitative methods and Lacan’s psychoanalytic theory, the research examines Trump's speeches and statements to understand this narrative. By attributing the nation's problems to external and internal pressures, the MAGA message aligns with public anxieties and creates antagonisms. The findings reveal that this narrative reinforces Trump's political power and shapes national identity with promises of returning to past greatness. Trump positions himself as a symbolic "Big Other," a savior who resolves perceived threats and restores order. The MAGA narrative taps into collective desires for identity, belonging, and control, uniting supporters through shared grievances and externalized blame. This appeal resonates with deep psychological needs, creating cycles of temporary satisfaction and deferred fulfillment, which sustains loyalty and hope. Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct the role of the Prosecutor's Office in the Indonesian juvenile criminal justice system, particularly in addressing the phenomenon of child delinquency where the perpetrator is under 12 years old. The fundamental problem arises when the prosecution process is formally halted (based on Article 21 of the SPPA Law), which implicitly causes the Prosecutor to ignore the victim's rights by his capacity as Dominus Litis. Through normative juridical research methods with a philosophical and conceptual approach, this study identifies a systemic failure in realizing substantive justice for child victims. The originality of this thinking lies in the deconstruction of the Prosecutor's rigid role from merely a public prosecutor to a representative of the state through the doctrine of Parens Patriae. The results of the study recommend an integrative protection model based on Pancasila Justice, where the Prosecutor acts as a restorative catalyst that guarantees restitutio in integrum for child victims through an institutionalized non-litigation mechanism.
