Abstract

The agricultural sector is the mainstay sector of Langkat Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of the area of ​​paddy fields and labor in the agricultural sector on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of the agricultural sector in Langkat Regency. This study uses the method of Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the influence of rice field and agricultural labor force variables on the GRDP of the agricultural sector amounted to 67.1% while the remaining 32.9% was influenced by other factors not used in this study. The area of ​​paddy fields and agricultural labor together have a significant effect on the GRDP of the agricultural sector but partially only paddy fields have an influence on the GRDP of the agricultural sector of Langkat Regency

Abstract

Corn is a plant that is widely planted in tropical regions due to the way the planting and maintenance is not so difficult and not expensive, in addition to providing food for a large part of people in a nation, corn is also a raw material for the industry. Corn crop farm is one of the food farming business that became an option for farmers in karo District given the natural conditions that apply to plant corn. The purpose of thus research is to know the influence of land and price of production towards the production of corn in karo District in 2015. The analysis data used an analysis of multiple linear regression. The result show that land area affected production meanwhile corn price was not affectedKeywords: broad harvest, production price , production.
