Abstract

Abstract

A company's organizational effectiveness is a crucial factor in determining how sustainable the company will be in the future. This article's goal is to clarify how corporate culture, pay, and motivation relate to the success of study programs at the Indo Global Mandiri Campus. The whole academic community of the Indo Global Mandiri School of Sharia Business Economics Study Program (STEBIS IGM) as well as the leadership of the Indo Global Mandiri Foundation management body made up the 50 respondents in the research sample. Using the IBM SPSS 25 statistical test, the survey approach manages quantitative data. The study's findings indicate that: Performance and motivation variables have a weak and negative association, suggesting that motivation components are less. The implications show that the factor of increasing compensation for employees will be able to have an influence on improving existing performance even though it will not have much of an impact on what is expected by the organization; Organizational culture variables have a positive and significant relationship to the performance of the STEBIS Indo Global Mandiri Study Program.

Abstract

This article explains the depictions of candidate figures in the 2024 presidential election. The aim of this study is to find out how to portray presidential candidates as victims who are persecuted by the cruelty of the authorities who side with the candidate team of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The important question raised in this research is why the scenario of becoming a victim needs to be carried out. The main reason is because the team of Anis Rasyid Baswedan and Muhaimin Iskandar, as well as Ganjar Pranowo and Mahfudz MD did not receive support from President Jokowi. So, to get help from the voters, these two teams created a scenario of becoming victims, in order to get electoral support. In this research, we chose to use a qualitative method with a case study approach with the aim of being able to see and hear more closely the various election experiences in Indonesia, especially after the collapse of the New Order regime. The focus of the study is directed at constructing how to gain electoral support in the face of non-neutrality of government officials, politicization of social assistance, engineering of legal rules, and politicization in other forms which result in creating a backlash to gain sympathy from voters in the election. This article specifically discusses the dynamics of the 2024 presidential election in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to explore the trend of declining votes for Islamic parties in contemporary Indonesia, both at the national and local levels. In particular, it examines the failure of the Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) in the 2024 elections. Some perspectives argue that the defeat of Islamic parties in Indonesia stems from their inability to adapt their ideological platforms, internal factionalism, and identity crises. Other views suggest that shifts in the ideological orientation of Islamic voters, who increasingly favor nationalist parties over Islamic parties, have also contributed to their electoral decline. This study employs a qualitative method with a sociological institutionalism approach, arguing that empirical sociological conditions played a decisive role in shaping the defeat of Islamic parties in the 2024 election. At least seven factors contributed to the failure of long-established Islamic parties to secure the support of Muslim voters. Chief among these was prolonged internal conflict, while additional factors included leadership crises, weak coordination and communication between central and regional legislative candidates, the loss of charismatic figures, misaligned endorsements of presidential and vice-presidential candidates, campaign strategies that failed to appeal to young voters, and inadequate financial and logistical resources.

Abstract

This article is arranged based on qualitative research results with a case study approach in one of the major political parties in Indonesia. This research found that the practice of recruiting regional leader candidates by political parties is not open and undemocratic. There are fraudulent actions and anomalies in the recruitment of regional leader candidates. The practice of buying and selling recommendation letters from the central party is real and occurs. Even though it is carried out secretly by some party elites, the perpetrators seem to be in a black market, as their existence is carried out tactically and cautiously. The selection of regional leader candidates conducted by political parties is followed by all groups, both from outside the party and cadres of the party itself. In reality it is those who have adequate political resources, especially from a financial perspective, who will get party approval.

Abstract

This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach on village head elections in two villages in Central Java to explore the role of the brondot strategy in democratization. This strategy utilizes rewards, primordial issues, and political clientelism to establish political hegemony, aiding incumbents in winning contests and avoiding significant competition, with hopes of victory without buying votes. Brondot is closely linked to familial political networks, leveraging biological relationships for network tactic control. Family's role in political elections and generational inheritance influences this strategy. The study provides insights into local political position elections without significant expenses, relevant in Indonesia where buying votes is a common practice.
