Abstract

Literary works are divided into several types, some of which are included in children's literature and some are included in the category of adult literature. The fundamental difference between these two works is the content and segmentation of the reader. The purpose of children's literature, in general, is an entertainment and media for them to learn and develop their interest in writing. Please note that children's literature has two broad lines based on the author. There are children's literary works that are made by children and for children to read as well. There is more children's literature created by adults. Good literature, in the sense of literary works that have learning value, must contain gender-sensitive values. The meaning of gender-sensitive is that children learn as early as possible to respect each other even if they come from other genders. What the child reads will be one of the factors causing the development of the child's identity. Therefore, as far as possible, children must be given an early understanding and understanding regarding gender sensitive children's literature. For this reason, this study then discusses the work of children's literature that has been published. Only a few samples were skinned to find out to what extent, children's literature was able to tolerate the existence of other types of gender that also coexisted in society.

Abstract

Keberadaan media baru telah mendorong setiap individu untuk ikut aktif berinteraksi di dalamnya. Cyberfeminisme merupakan salah satu gagasan penting yang lahir dari keberadaan media baru tersebut. Di mana media baru menjadi isu krusial yang diharapkan bisa menjadi wadah perempuan mencapai pembebasan. Namun, hadirnya media baru tidak lantas bisa secara otomatis menghapuskan adanya ketidakadilan gender di ruang publik. Problem baru muncul dari adanya usaha perempuan untuk secara total berdaya lewat ruang techno-budaya. Masalah tersebut hadir dalam bentuk komodifikasi tubuh perempuan dalam media baru, yang dilakukan oleh perempuan sebagai subjek. Sehingga yang terjadi justru pelanggengan patriarkhal dan kuasa pikiran laki-laki dalam media. Hal ini tentu menjadi pekerjaan rumah baru bagi para cyberfeminis. Tulisan ini fokus menguraikan bagaimana peran cyberfeminis dalam upaya meng-counter massifnya komodifikasi tubuh perempuan dalam media baru, yang juga terus dibayangi oleh diskursus maskulinitas atau dominasi laki-laki. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif-analitis, dengan menggunakan cyberfeminisme sebagai alat analisis. Adapun hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa cyberfeminis setidaknya berhasil membuat jaringan literasi berbasis feminisme, eksis di media sosial sebagai upaya konter ideologi dari adanya discounted feminism oleh kapitalisme. Kata kunci: cyberfeminisme, media baru, komodifikasi, tubuh perempuan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini membahas relevansi pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam berbasis pengarusutamaan gender. Sesuai dengan Instruksi Presiden nomor 9 tahun 2000, sudah semestinya setiap lembaga pemerintah menerapkan pengarusutamaan gender sebagai landasan membuat kebijakan dalam pembangunan. Hal tersebut juga berlaku di lembaga pendidikan, di mana pengarusutamaan gender sudah harus diintegrasikan atau setidaknya berkorelasi dengan kurikulum pembelajaran. Salah satu mata pelajaran wajib yang perlu mengintegrasikan konsep kesetaraan gender dalam pembelajarannya adalah pendidikan agama islam, karena dalam banyak kasus menyebutkan pemahaman agama yang tidak sensitif gender seringkali membawa dampak sosial yang merugikan perempuan, menghadirkan stereotipe, diskriminasi, marginalisasi dan melanggengkan budaya patriarki di masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini berbasis kepustakaan atau library research dengan metode deskriptif-analitis.  Adapun hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pengarusutamaan gender sangat urgen dimasukkan dalam kurikulum pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam karena terbukti membawa dampak signifikan dalam perubahan cara pandang pendidik dan peserta didik.Abstract: This article focuses on the relevance of learning Islamic religious education based on gender mainstreaming. In accordance with Presidential Instruction number 9 of 2000, every government agency should have implemented gender mainstreaming as a basis for making policies in development. This also applies in educational institutions, where gender mainstreaming must be integrated or at least correlated with the learning curriculum. One of the compulsory subjects that need to integrate the concept of gender equality in learning is Islamic religious education, because in many cases it is stated that the understanding of religion that is not gender sensitive often brings social impacts that are detrimental to women, presenting stereotypes, discrimination, marginalization and perpetuates a patriarchal culture in society. Sources of data were obtained from books and journal articles related to the research focus. The results show that gender mainstreaming is very urgent to be included in the Islamic religious education curriculum because it has been proven to have a significant impact in changing the perspectives. Abstract

This paper discusses the capacities of women during the Covid-19 pandemic. In Indonesia, Covid-19 has changed many aspects. Haphazard policy making also adds to the workload of the community, both in the domestic and public sphere. Women as agents who contribute to providing food needs in the realm of the family are almost never included in policy making, especially during the pandemic. This makes the policies issued cannot accommodate the needs of women. Meanwhile, the unfinished pandemic also exacerbates the subordinate conditions experienced by women. This paper uses a gender analysis model of the Capasities and Vulnerabilities Analysis Framework (CVA) to see the extent of the capacities and vulnerabilities of women crafters of reyeng in Dusun Contong, Ngunggahan Village in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive and data collection was taken by observation and in-depth interviews. The results of this study indicate that women crafters of reyeng during the Covid-19 pandemic were vulnerable due to limited access to aspects of health and social assistance. However, these women also have the capacity and capability to adapt to a pandemic. This capability is evidenced by the ability to use the narrow land around the house to grow vegetables and exchange food and bamboo with other reyeng women craftsmen.

Abstract

This article provides a brief discussion of the reconceptualization of ibuism. It attempts to reread the narrative of women's domestication, disguised as glorification, while restricting women's access to other spaces. Specifically, this article aims to deconstruct the meaning of ‘ibuism.’ The author, in turn, seeks to reinterpret the narrow narrative of ibuism, shifting its understanding to a paradigm of ethics of care. The method used in writing this article is a literature study, where books and journal articles that focus on discussing ibuisme, domestification, and gender roles are the main sources. Through a theological analysis approach, this research finds that the core values attached to the mother figure, particularly rahmah (compassion) and tarbiyah (nurture), are not attributes tied solely to gender or the womb. Both are universal sources of ethics. Meanwhile, the domestication of women under the guise of motherhood is a theological distortion. Conversely, co-parenting and men's involvement in the domestic sphere are ethical imperatives. Ultimately, this re-conceptualization not only aims to free women from the shackles of narrow nature but also invites men to participate fully in the ethics of care to realize a fair family and maslahah.
