Abstract

ABSTRACTUD. Angkasa Timor is one of the business units engaged in beef processing with 3 forms of products produced, se'i, beef jerky and shredded beef. The obstacle faced is that entrepreneurs have not used the available resources optimally so the benefits have not been maximized. Therefore, this study aims to combine existing production resources so that entrepreneurs can obtain optimal production results and can obtain maximum profits. By using linear programming methods in the POM-QM For Windows V4 application, the analysis results are obtained X1 = 0.8571 kg, X2 = 1.8033 kg, and X3 = 0.2459 kg, with an Z value or an optimal profit of Rp. 7,197,893, Keywords : Linear Programming, Optimization

Abstract

Rice is a strategic commodity that a very important role as the main staple food for the majority of people in Indonesia. Rice has its own distribution development pattern that provides added value to business actors. "CV. Hidup Baru Jaya" is a company in Kupang City that is engaged in distributing packaged rice from storage warehouses to several storage warehouses in other areas. In distributing the rice, the company tries to reduce or minimize the distribution costs incurred in order to obtain optimal profit. Mathematically, the transportation model is one solution that can be used to solve this rice distribution problem. By using POM-QM V4 as the optimal solution tool, it was found that the company could distribute 125 sacks of Raja Kupang rice to the Malaka Warehouse; 150 sacks of rice to Rote Warehouse, 75 sacks to Malaka Warehouse and 200 sacks to Atambua Warehouse for Stroberry rice; Nona Timor rice was 200 sacks to Semau Warehouse, 50 sacks to Rote Warehouse and 200 sacks to Sulamu Warehouse. Thus, the company profits Rp. 20,000,000, -.

Abstract

Integer programming menrupakan bentuk atau model matematis dari pemrograman linear yang mengharuskan atau mensyaratkan hasil yang diperoleh adalah bilangan bulat tak negatif. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan model integer programming untuk menganalisis hasil produksi yang optimal dari produk “KURMA BABE”. UD. Serba Karya adalah salah satu UKM di Kota Kupang yang memproduksi “KURMA BABE” dengan 2 model atau variasi yaitu Kurma Biasa dan Kurma Spoon. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah pemilik usaha belum melakukan perencanaan produksi secara tepat terkait penggunaan atau kombinasi sumber daya atau input produksi sehingga produk yang dihasilakn belum optimal. Hal ini tentunya akan berpengaruh terhadap keuntungan yang diperoleh tidak maksimal. Sehingga dengan model integer programming dan penggunaan POM-QM For Windows V4 sebagai alat bantu analisis diperoleh bahwa hasil optimalnya adalah X1 (Kursi Biasa) = 4 unit, X3 (Meja Biasa) = 2 unit dengan Z = 18 unit (3 set “KURMA BABE”), dengan keuntungannya sebesar Rp. 1.050.000,- sekali produksi.
