Abstract

Islamic educational institutions such as madrasas and Islamic boarding schools have succeeded in building human character with a religious culture that loves the Republic of Indonesia. The slanted view of informal institutions "madrasas and Islamic boarding schools" since its establishment until now still exists. They feel that the output or alumni of informal institutions are less ogled by the national job market, especially internationally. In fact, until now Islamic educational institutions still exist and do not care about these unfounded accusations. Islamic educational institutions are more focused on strengthening and deepening the competence of santri, students, and prospective scholars so that after returning to society they reflect individuals who have character, integrity, broad knowledge, and virtuous character. The method used is descriptive qualitative. While the approach used in literature. The results of the analysis found the following findings that Islamic Education policies from time to time experienced quite heavy dynamics. Dutch-era Islamic education received policy discrimination. Islamic education only got a breath of fresh air after the Dutch leadership fell to Japan. The Japanese government agreed to the request of the Indonesian people. Starting from the establishment of Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, and Senior High Schools, to the establishment of Islamic Colleges in Jakarta. The journey of Islamic education can be said to have truly become independent after Indonesia's independence. There are five problems to evaluate the study of Islamic Education in Indonesia, including Limitations of Government Power, Disagreements on a Problem, Subjectivity in Interpretation, Limitations in Research on Resource Management, and Complexity of Human Behavior. These five problems need to get responses from various parties, it is not enough if they are only handled by a few people, it is necessary for the cooperation of all parties so that ideal policies can be formulated in time

Abstract

To build and foster a modern society, education is a very important part as a medium for transformation of values, culture and knowledge. Therefore, the thinking and institutions of Islamic education must be modernized. The establishment of IAIN played a very important role in influencing the modernization of Indonesian Islam. He became the mouthpiece of progressive Islamic thinkers who managed to move the wave of Islamic thought productively. Meanwhile, the dynamics and dialectics between conservative romanticism that always look into the past, and progressivists who always want to reconstruct Islam into the future, are a latent agenda of Muslims throughout history. Finally, the modernization movement must be continuously carried out while still paying attention to the basic principles of Islam that already exist and are agreed upon so that they will have a positive impact on the progress of Islamic education.

Abstract

The Indonesian nation is facing a dangerous situation at the moment due to character building whose effectiveness is not yet maximal and applicable. Information technology may develop rapidly, but the identity that is explored from the history of the origins of the nation which includes super culture must be preserved. This paper is intended to inspire enthusiasm, preserve character development with educational applicative tips through the synergy of the role of teachers and parents. With this synergy, the fulfillment of balanced needs is expected to optimize student growth and development in line with the nature of events that have been pinned to him as a human being. This is necessary because teachers and parents have a common mission of providing students with a thorough education both physically and spiritually. Thus teachers and parents have good opportunities to work together, work together to optimize the potential of students.

Abstract

Challenges of Indonesian society, especially for millennials is the strengthening of digital literacy and filtering of information. Users of communication technology such as smartpone need to be balanced with the right insight and understanding of the influence of the use of communication media. Smart communication media (smartpone) that is equipped with the latest features and high-ability should be held by smart people, namely people who can make use of the media properly and wisely. The school is a place to develop students' potential with the teaching and learning process conducted on a periodal and structured basis. In schools there is also the potential for conflict between students, students with teachers, and teachers with parents (parents). Conflict can be defined by dispute or conflict. School institutions or teachers are often scapegoats for the attitudes and behaviors of naughty students, generally parents in responding to their child's misbehavior is too excessive, they seem to wash their hands and assume that teachers in schools are not right in educating. Parents in general pay less attention to the causes and consequences caused by the misbehavior of students in school, parents are more focused on excessive expression to lecture and lecture teachers in school because it is considered less because of educating students, this kind of thing can actually be found the best solution, one of which is through mediation approach. Research Method is a description research with a library approach. Based on the results of the analysis of data sources can be concluded that the mediation approach can be implemented in internal and external conflicts of educational institutions. The mediation approach is carried out in two stages. The first stage is detoral mediation, and the second stage is cross-sectoral mediation. The two stages are taken in sequence or orderly, in order to produce comprehensive information and conclusions.
