Abstract

Teacher-centered learning makes students feel unmotivated to learning without the latest innovations in learning. Especially during Covid-19 virus pandemic that makes educational institutions have to dismiss students and make teachers need innovation with new online learning. There needs to be change in the learning process that can arouse student’s motivation. Motivation can affect students' critical thinking abilities. The purpose of this study is to analyze differences and enhancement of motivation and critical thinking abilities between group of students who apply of news based online learning compared with not as the control group. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The sample of this research are taken through randomize sampling. The results of the t-test showed significant different (sig. 0.01) of motivation between the classes that applied news based online learning with control classes. T-test results also showed significant different in critical thinking (sig. 0.00). N-Gain of motivation for the experimental group was 0.31 while the control group was 0.12. Meanwhile, N-Gain of critical thinking in the experimental group was 0.67, while the control group was 0.33. The results indicate that the application of the news-based online learning can increase students' motivation and critical thinking. Students who were taught with news-based online learning are more active in expressing their opinions and they are eager to participate in learning activities.

Abstract

A clean environment is very important because it has a big impact on children's health and growth. Children's growth can also be disrupted due to a polluted environment. ODF behavior can be a factor in stunting in an area. Open Defecation Free (ODF) in Indonesia is still a problem, 33 out of 34 provinces in Indonesia are still not 100% verified as ODF, in Bekasi district itself there are still many areas that carry out ODF behavior and the reduction in stunting cases has not yet reached the target.This community service uses counseling and training methods.The aim of this research is to achieve "Zero Stunting and ODF" in order to build a cleaner and more advanced village. There are still places that need better village development, because most houses in Jayalaksana Village do not have proper sanitation or waste disposal, thereby polluting the water while the water is still used by local residents for washing. It can be concluded that this community service activity has a positive impact which can help residents in thinking and planning development.

Abstract

Tanaman murbei merupakan suatu tanaman yang berasal dari alam yang tumbuh secara liar. Tanaman ini biasanya dimanfaatkan sebagai obat-obatan serta makanan dan minuman yang sehat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon pemberian ZPT alami ekstrak tauge terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman murbei (Morus alba L), mengetahui respon pemberian ZPT alami ekstrak bawang merah terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman murbei (Morus alba L), dan mengetahui interaksi kombinasi perlakuan pemberian ZPT alami ekstrak tauge dan ekstrak bawang merah terhadap pertumbuhan stek tanaman murbei (Morus alba L).  Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan yang berlokasi di Kp. Beber, Desa Kemang, Kecamatan Bojongpicung, Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat 43283. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni hingga bulan Juli 2023. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah Ekstrak tauge (A), A1 = 0 g/L, A2 = 100 g/L, A3 = 150 g/L, dan A4 = 200 g/L. Faktor kedua yaitu Ekstrak bawang merah (B), B1 = 0 g/L, B2 = 100 g/L, B3 = 150 g/L, dan B4 = 200 g/L.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi perlakuan A3B3 (Ekstrak tauge 150 g/L dan Ekstrak bawang merah 150 g/L) merupakan hasil yang memberikan pengaruh paling baik terhadap jumlah daun (6 helai), tinggi tanaman (16,10 cm), dan jumlah buah (1,67).
