Abstract

Video transmission is encoded by block-based techniques such as MPEG in sensitive environment. It’s very susceptible to noise which can cause block losses and even missing frames during transmission. A technique to overcome this problem is applied Error concealment (EC) on the decoder. There are two approaches used in this EC, spacial EC which utilizes information around the image and temporal EC by utilizing motion information. The method of EC that used in this research is Frequency Selective Extrapolation (FSE). The video is encoded by the H.264 / AVC standard (MPEG-Part10). The isolated block losses was added to the video as an error simulation, then applied the EC-FSE method on the decoder. There are two method of EC-FSE used, FSE-2D (two dimensions) and FSE-3D (three dimensions). The measurement results were observed by the PSNR and MOS values. The simulation results show that H.264 / AVC video concealed with FSE-3D has a better performance than FSE-2D.

Abstract

Modifying the shape of the patch microstrip antenna is one way to solve the narrow bandwidth. E-Shaped patch microstrip antenna is obtained by modifying a rectangular patch mikrostrip antenna. The results on this research have succesfully compared the design and simulation antenna parameters between rectangular patch and E-shaped patch. It uses FR-4 as a substrate and works on 5500 MHz frequency for WiFi. The feeding method using a feedline method. The E-shaped patch microstrip antenna has a VSWR value of 1.04 and the antenna return loss is -33.73 dB, better than the rectangular patch. The gain of E-shaped patch is increased by almost 2.5 times and the bandwidth is increased by 10.18% compared to the rectangular patch. The radiation pattern of the two patches has the same directional radiation pattern.

Abstract

A locker is a storage facility that can be seen at several public facilities such as public swimming pools, a library, and sports facilities like a gymnasium. Most lockers at public facilities still use conventional locking techniques. This has a negative impact in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and security. Therefore, a QR-Code-based system that is integrated with the android application has been created to function for monitoring availability, borrowing lockers, and opening and locking lockers through the android application. Smart locker system using ESP32 as microcontroller and network that used to receive data sent from android application. When data is received, ESP32 will respond by activating the relay which controls the magnetic lock that replaced the conventional lock, while the android application is created for monitoring locker availability, borrowing lockers, and opening and locking lockers through the android application. This test is carried out for this application, which refers to the ISO 25010 standard with aspects of functional suitability, usability, and compatibility. The results of testing aspects of functional suitability and compatibility get 100 percent feasibility percentage results. Then for usability, it shows that from the 10-point questionnaire distributed to respondents, the percentage of feasibility results is 78.98 percent which is included in the acceptable category, this shows that the mobile application has good quality. The system test was done by pressing the button in the android application at the same time with two different devices and having a time difference while opening the lockers with a time average of 0.874 seconds.

Abstract

SMK Negeri 53 Jakarta melakukan pengembangan terhadap pengelolaan data kehadiran di lingkungan sekolah. Pengembangan yang dilakukan adalah membuat sebuah sistem kehadiran menggunakan teknologi pengenalan wajah secara realtime dengan menggunakan metode Single Shot MultiBox Detector (SSD). Metode SSD merupakan salah satu metode pendeteksian dan pengenalan objek dengan deep learning, yang dapat digunakan untuk mendeteksi wajah secara cepat dan akurat.  Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan kamera yang terintegrasi dengan website sistem kehadiran yang sudah ditanam algoritma SSD. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem kehadiran yang sudah dirancang mampu melakukan pendeteksian dan pengenalan wajah dengan nilai tertinggi untuk tingkat akurasi 100%, nilai recall 100%,  nilai pendeteksian wajah 80%, nilai pengenalan wajah 90%, nilai efisiensi dalam segi waktu 95.8%, dan nilai efisiensi dengan sistem kehadiran lainnya sebesar 86%. Dengan mengimplementasikan teknologi pengenalan wajah menggunakan metode SSD pada sistem absensi akan memberikan efisiensi dalam segi waktu, dan proses pendataan serta pengolahan data kehadiran.
