Abstract

One of the main factors to consider in milkfish aquaculture in ponds is maintaining the environmental sustainability of the water. Therefore, the water quality in milkfish ponds must be monitored daily. To facilitate periodic water quality monitoring for milkfish farmers, a pond water quality monitoring system was developed for smartphones. This system monitors water salinity levels using a TDS sensor, pH levels using a pH sensor, water temperature using a DS18B20 sensor, and water turbidity using a turbidity sensor, all directly connected to a WEMOS D1 microcontroller. All parameters are monitored through a custom Android application, which sends notifications if any water parameter exceeds normal limits: temperature 15-40°C, salinity 5-35 ppt, pH 7-8, and turbidity 20-40 NTU. The microcontroller programming is done in C, and Python is used to process real-time data from the database into Ms. Excel files. System testing is carried out on each sensor to determine the level of accuracy using a comparative measuring instrument. The results show that the system communicates effectively, sending and receiving sensor data every 5 seconds, with an overall sensor reading accuracy of 99.1%.

Abstract

Smoking behavior is found in pesantren (boarding schools) as well as in non-boarding school zones. Although there is a no-smoking rule in pesantren, there are still many students who smoke in secret where one of the most common places for them to smoke is inside the dormitory toilets and dormitories. Most often used as a place to smoke is inside the dormitory toilet and this behavior is an offense. This behavior is a violation. The purpose of this research is to design a cigarette smoke detector that can help teachers or supervisors in supervising students. students who are secretly smoking in the bathroom. who are smoking in the restroom. Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat sebagai salah satu Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan perangkat dan pelatihan sistem pembelajaran berbasis multimedia di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Nusantara dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sirojul Athfal 5. Adanya keputusan dari empat menteri (Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Menteri Dalam Negeri dan Menteri Kesehatan) untuk membuka kegiatan Pembelajaran Tatap Muka Terbatas di sekolah mulai bulan Juli 2021, mengharuskan semua sekolah untuk mempersiapkan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan protokol Covid-19. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran masih dilakukan secara terbatas, sehingga diperlukan metode agar pencapaian materi bisa diberikan sesuai sasaran. Langkah pelaksanaannya diantaranya melalui Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh (PJJ), dimana akan lebih memudahkan guru dan siswa jika menggunakan Learning Management System (LMS). Pelatihan sejenis LMS ini akan memudahkan guru dalam memberikan pengajaran visual secara online, memberikan tugas, mengatur pengumpulan tugas, memberikan ujian baik harian atau pun semester.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has affected many sectors, including the tourism sector. Utilizing digital platforms, such as websites, is an option for promoting tourist areas. Kampung Setaman is an area that has the potential to become an educational tourism destination. However, this village does not yet have a website as a promotional medium for its village. Therefore, this research aims to develop a website for the Kampung Setaman Tourism Village which is expected to help the Kampung Setaman management in promoting the area more widely. Creating a website begins with a needs analysis to find out what menus need to be on the website. Next, the website interface was designed using HTML, CSS, Javascript and PHP, as well as creating a database using MySQL. Collecting and creating website content in the form of writing, photos and videos about the area and programs of Kampung Setaman is also carried out to then be uploaded on the website being developed. The final stage of creating a website is testing performance efficiency and security. Based on performance efficiency testing, an average performance value of 90.2% was obtained. Meanwhile, from security testing using HostedScan, it was found that website security was quite good.

Abstract

Cherry tomatoes, small in size but sweet and nutritious, are increasingly popular and cultivated in Indonesia. The main challenge is determining optimal ripeness for harvesting. Technologies such as YOLOv8 can improve the accuracy of fruit ripeness detection. This study at BBPP Lembang applied YOLOv8 to detect cherry tomato ripeness and analyzed the model's performance and influencing factors. The research method for cherry tomato ripeness analysis using YOLOv8 involved image collection and annotation, data augmentation, and dataset sharing. The model was trained on the Google Colab platform with GPUs, evaluated using metrics such as accuracy and mAP, and then integrated into a website. The system was tested in real-world conditions and monitored regularly to ensure optimal performance. YOLOv8 successfully identified cherry tomato ripeness at BBPP Lembang with a mAP of 77.5%, a precision of 77.6%, a recall of 68.1%, and an F1-score of 72.5% after 100 epochs. The model demonstrated 85.71% accuracy in field trials, succeeding in 6 out of 7 tests. Model performance is influenced by dataset quality, lighting, and image resolution for optimal results. The model achieved 85.71% accuracy in real-time conditions on the website.
