Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has given rise to new phenomena such as the metaverse and virtual marketplaces, which offer both opportunities and challenges for consumers in Indonesia. On the one hand, consumers can benefit from the ease of conducting digital asset transactions such as cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and various forms of virtual goods. On the other hand, they face serious risks, including financial losses, privacy violations, exploitation through microtransactions, and legal uncertainty when dealing with foreign business actors. This study aims to analyze consumer protection in digital asset transactions within the metaverse and virtual marketplaces, identify the risks faced by consumers, assess the adequacy of Indonesia’s current regulations, and review international practices as references. The research employs a normative legal approach combined with qualitative analysis by examining statutory regulations, legal literature, and relevant national and international journals. The findings reveal that although Indonesia has enacted the Consumer Protection Law and the Personal Data Protection Law, these regulations have not specifically addressed consumer protection in the metaverse and virtual marketplace context. As a result, consumers remain vulnerable to various digital transaction risks. The study implies the need for adaptive regulations, stronger digital transaction supervisory institutions, and the adoption of international practices such as the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to ensure more comprehensive consumer protection in Indonesia.

Abstract: Indonesia is a pluralistic country rich in religious, ethnic, racial, linguistic and socio-culturaldiversity. As a plural country, the space for conflict and SARA is wide open so that it often raises variousproblems in it, both religion with other religions, ethnicity with other tribes, and other problems. In addition,Indonesia has a dismal record of religious intolerance to the point of loss of life and property. Intolerance isstill a serious threat to the Indonesian people even though they are already in the Millennium Era, namelythe era of scientific and technological progress. Researchers use library research (Library Research). Libraryresearch is research carried out using literature (library), in the form of books, notes, and reports of previousresearch results. Millennials should be able to play an important role as agents of peace for the world, nation and society. The Millennial generation must realize that progress is an Indonesian reality that cannot bedenied by anyone, which in turn gives birth to a diversity of cultures, customs, languages and beliefs.Pluralism in the context of Indonesia is a unique wealth. To be one nation and one country, as the motto ofthe Indonesian people, namely Bhinneka Tunggal Ika - different but one. In line with the teaching ofChristian Religious Education, tolerance must be carried out based on love. Because without love it isimpossible for one to love one another. This is in accordance with Jesus' teaching to love one another. Lovingothers is the heart of Jesus that must be obeyed and practiced by Christians. That love breeds tolerance formutual respect, respect, and peace for others. Therefore, to realize God's mission for the world to bring peaceto all of His creation, PAK must instill an attitude of tolerance to the Millennial generation, and become thePAK curriculum in the learning process, both at school and in the Church. Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has profoundly transformed how children think, behave, learn, and interact with their surroundings. Within the field of Christian faith education—particularly in the context of Sunday School—this transformation presents both challenges and opportunities. Grounded in 2 Timothy 3:14–15 and Mark 10:13–16, this study argues that faith formation must begin early through genuine engagement with Scripture and a personal encounter with Christ. The Apostle Paul emphasizes that faith is rooted in the Scriptures introduced during childhood, while Jesus’ acceptance of children reveals God’s inclusive love and the significance of childlike faith in the Kingdom of God. In the digital era, traditional methods such as memorization and lecturing have become insufficient. Therefore, theological education must be re-envisioned by integrating digital media as a creative, participatory, and contextual means of proclaiming the Gospel. Viewing technology not as a distraction but as a pedagogical partner enables Sunday School to nurture faith, shape character, and deepen children’s relationship with Christ. Ultimately, technology functions not as a threat to faith but as a pastoral and theological instrument that fosters spiritual transformation amid the complexities of the digital age.

Abstract

In contemporary churches, misunderstandings regarding spiritual gifts often occur, where supernatural phenomena are frequently emphasized over Biblical truth, alongside a tendency for congregations to prioritize specific gifts such as healing. This study aims to provide a correct theological understanding of spiritual gifts according to the Apostle Paul's teaching in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, to establish correct theology within the congregation. The method used in this research is qualitative with a library research approach, collecting and analyzing information from relevant written sources. The results show that the word "gift" (pneumatikon) refers to things originating from the Holy Spirit, not human ability. Paul describes various gifts—such as the word of wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, tongues, and their interpretation—as manifestations originating from the same Spirit. It is concluded that the primary purpose of these gifts is not for personal pride or a display of power, but rather granted for the common good to build unity and equip the body of Christ.
