Abstract

Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) is an active topic of conversation on Twitter, but customer sentiment patterns towards the bank's services have not been quantitatively analyzed. This study performs positive and negative sentiment classification on 24,401 Indonesian tweets collected on May 17, 2023. The preprocessing stage includes text cleaning, nonstandard word normalization, stopword removal, and stemming with the Sastrawi library. The data was labeled based on the affection dictionary and verified manually. Text representation is done with word frequency-based unigram-bigram method using CountVectorizer, then trained using Multinomial Naive Bayes algorithm. Evaluation of the model against test data resulted in an accuracy of 94%, with precision, recall, and F1-score of 93% each. Words that commonly appear in positive sentiments include easy and fast service, while negative sentiments are dominated by the words error and maintenance. These results show that the Naive Bayes-based approach and word frequency representation are effective for rapid analysis of public opinion towards BSI on social media.

Abstract

This community service activity has a primary goal of providing guidance on marketing strategies though live streaming on social media platforms such as Tiktok and Instagram. The purpose is to support the dissemination of information about affordable housing for communities with middle to lower incomes. This activity servers as a solution to the problem of limited access to clear, accurate, and reliable housing information, wich is often faced by people seeking affordable homes. The method used is a participatory approach involving mentoring sessions, hands-on practice, and evaluation of the live streaming content.’ Students were actively involved throughout the the entire process, from planning to implementation. The results of the activity showed an increase in particioants` understanding and skills in designing and conducting live streams that are informative, engaging, and interactive for the public. In addition, this activity had a positive impact on participants` confidence in using digital meda as a tool fot communication and promotion. Overall, the activity aims to expand public acces to trustworthy housing information. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat tentu memiliki tujuan utama, yaitu untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam hal strategi pemasaran melalui siaran langsung (live stream) di media sosial seperti Tiktok, Instagram dalam rangka mendukung penyebaran informasi perumahan terjangkau untuk masyarakat dengan penghasilan menengah kebawah. Kegiatan ini menjadi solusi terhadap sebuah permasalahan dimana keterbatasan akses informasi perumahan yang jelas, akurat, dan terpercaya, yang sering kali dihadap oleh masyarakat yang ingin memiliki rumah terjangkau dengan harga yang terjangkau. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan partisipatif melalui sesi pendampingan, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi terhadap konten siaran langsung (live stream) yang dibuat, mahasiswa dilibatkan secara akftif dalam seluruh proses dimulai dari perencanaan hingga pelaksanaan. Dan hasil dari kegiatan menunjukan bahwasanya peningkatan dalam hal pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta dalam merancang dan menjalankan live streaming yang infromatif, menarik, dan interaktif. bagi masyarakat. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta dalam menggunakan media digital sebagai alat komunikasi dan promosi. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini bertujuan memperluas akses masyarakat terhadap informasi perumahan.

Abstract

Waste remains a prevalent issue that has not been effectively addressed. In Indonesia, a significant portion of the population still views waste as useless residual material. The total waste generated in Indonesia reached 21.88 million tons in 2021, with households contributing the largest share at 42.23%, followed by businesses at 19.11%, markets at 15.26%, offices at 6.72%, public facilities at 6.71%, and other sources at 3.55%. This research is an experimental study utilizing a True Experiment design. The descriptive data analysis focuses on transforming plastic waste into paving blocks. Based on the research findings, plastic waste is a highly suitable material for making paving blocks because plastics contain fiber strands that bind the plastic with other materials. After testing for durability, it was discovered that plastic paving blocks can withstand loads of up to 87 kg and exhibit good water absorption properties. Paving blocks made from plastic waste fall into the quality classifications C and D. In conclusion, the production of paving blocks using a mixture of PET plastic involves several stages, including equipment and material preparation, waste collection, cutting, heating, molding, release, soaking, and drying. This process constitutes pure experimentation aimed at producing an alternative solution to waste management. It is recommended that the community can utilize this research by creating paving blocks from PET plastic waste

Abstract

Perpustakaan salah satu bagian dari tempat pendidikan yang memiliki peran penting untuk menambah ilmu dan pengetahuan pelajar. Namun, Perpustakaan memiliki jam operasional tertentu, yang mungkin tidak sesuai dengan jadwal atau kebutuhan individu yang memiliki keterbatasan waktu. Sehingga, di rancanglah aplikasi digital perpustakaan berbasis android yang dapat diakses dimana saja dan kapan saja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode prototyping yang dimana dengan metode prototyping ini akan dihasilkan prototype sistem sebagai perantara pengembang dan pengguna agar dapat berinteraksi dalam proses kegiatan. Model ini memiliki lima langkah utama, yaitu Communication (komunikasi), Quick Plan (Perencanaan Cepat), Modeling Quick Design (Pemodelan Desain Secara Cepat), Construction of Prototype (Membangun Prototipe), dan Development Delivery & Feedback. Tujuan Penelitian yaitu untuk menciptakan solusi yang inovatif, user-friendly, dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan dalam menyediakan layanan perpustakaan dalam era digital saat ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dari hasil pengujian sistem yang dilakukan bahwa sistem berjalan dengan baik sehingga aplikasi digital perpustakaan berbasis mobile dapat digunakan.
