Abstract

This research is a study of the scientific approach (with the 5M method) which is part ofthe implementation of the KKNI curriculum which will be applied in learning to writescientific papers. In connection with that, the research objective is to see the increase inthe ability of students in writing scientific papers by applying a scientific approach (the5M method). The method used is a quasi-experimental method, namely quasiexperimental with a one group pretest-postest design. The design only looks at thelearning outcomes of students before and after treatment with the scientific approach (5Mmethod). The sample that will be subject to treatment is 30 people from the entirepopulation. This was obtained from 30% of the 103 on year 2019 students who receivedthe Scientific Paper Writing Engineering course. While the test that will be used tomeasure the ability of students is the writing ability test. The test is made in the form of adescription. Learning outcomes were tested using the Liliefors normality test, testing datahomogeneity with the F homogeneity test, and testing hypotheses with the T-test Key Word: Scientific approach; Writing Skills

Abstract

Abstrak   Penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja berpotensi menyebabkan kerusakan dalam aspek pendidikan, kehidupan sosial, kesehatan, hingga masa depan mereka. Tujuan dari pelaksaan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi kepada siswa tentang bahaya narkoba, meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya narkoba, hukum dan sanksi penggunan narkoba supaya bisa membentuk sikap dari siswa untuk menghindari narkoba, serta tim pengabmas mampu menerapkan proyek mata kuliah wajib kurikulum di STIKES Pamenang. Metode kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 November 2024 pukul 08.00 sampai dengan selesai, tempat pelaksanaan diselenggarakan di MTS Zainul Hassan. Sasaran adalah siswa siswi kelas 7 sebanyak 52. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah interaktif, tanya jawab,kemudian diakhiri dengan edu games. Media yang digunakan adalah Power point, leafelt, X Banner. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu kehadiran siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini sejumlah 98%. Pengetahuan siswa tentang bahaya narkoba kategori baik dengan rata-rata prosentase 80% dari beberapa indikator, mampu meningkatkan motivasi siswa untuk menghindari narkoba. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini secara garis besar berjalan dengan lancar.   Kata kunci : Narkoba, Penyuluhan, Preventif, Remaja   Abstract   Drug abuse among adolescents has the potential to cause damage in terms of education, social life, health, and their future. The purpose of implementing this activity is to provide education to students about the dangers of drugs, increase students' knowledge about the dangers of drugs, laws and sanctions for drug use in order to shape students' attitudes to avoid drugs, and the community service team is able to implement compulsory curriculum course projects at STIKES Pamenang. The method of this activity was carried out on November 2, 2024 at 08.00 until finished, the location of the implementation was held at MTS Zainul Hassan. The target is 52 students in grade 7. The method used is the interactive lecture method, questions and answers, then ending with edu games. The media used are Power point, leaflets, X Banners. The results of this activity are that student attendance in participating in this activity is 98%. Students' knowledge about the dangers of drugs is in the good category with an average percentage of 80% from several indicators, able to increase students' motivation to avoid drugs.
