Abstract

This research reveals the closeness of the characters to their God through various aspects of Sufistic values. The research also aims to find out if these five aspects are in accordance with the stages. In collecting data, the method used was reading thoroughly and repeatedly using note-taking methods and the approach used was descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research and discussion show that in the novel Hijrah Itu Cinta by Abay Adhitya there are Sufistic values which involve five things, namely (1) Sufistic values viewed from the aspect of repentance. (2) Sufistic values viewed from the aspect of patience, (3) Sufistic values viewed from the poor aspect, (4) Sufistic values viewed from the ascetic aspect, and (5) Sufistic values viewed from the aspect of tawakal. The data found through the dialogue of the characters has shown its relevance in everyday life

Abstract

This study aims to describe the responses and reception of Perempuan Berkalung Sorban movie among Islamic senior high school students’ and its implementation in Indonesian language learning. This qualitative descriptive study employs a reception approach. Interviews, questionnaires, and documentation techniques have been performed in collecting the data. The data analysis techniques consist of several procedures, (1) identifying data from parts of the movie that elicit students’ response in the form of mimics or expressions as well as oral and written responses; (2) classifying response and reception data; (3) interpreting and describing the results of the analysis; and (4) concluding the results of the analysis. The results reveal that (1) the students’ positive response is shown by happy expression, while negative responses consist of sad, annoyed, angry, scared, shocked, disgusted, disappointed, and concerned expressions; (2) The students' verbal and written receptions to the movie are shown with positive explanations as the movie exuded the values for guide of life, and the negative ones are shown due to the treatment that marginalized women; (3) the implementation of the results on Indonesian language learning is carried out by designing a learning development. The design is based on a reception approach on the basic competencies of understanding thecontents of literary works (movie) for the second semester of twelve grade students in Islamic senior high school.

Abstract

Kepribadian merupakan karakteristik yang melekat pada diri seseorang, tercermin melalui sikap dan perilaku, serta hal yang membedakannya dari orang lain. Tetapi tidak memungkinkan bahwa kepribadian seseorang akan berubah karena berbagai faktor, misalnya caranya dalam menghadapi suatu masalah. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan ketidaksadaran kepribadian tokoh Alina dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu dengan menggunakan teori psikoanalisis Carl Gustav Jung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini mencakup penggunaan kata-kata, susunan kalimat, dan paragraf yang mengandung aspek kepribadian ketidaksadaran tokoh Alina dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu. Sumber data penelitian berupa novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu cetakan pertama diterbitkan oleh Gramedia Pustaka Utama dengan jumlah 208 halaman. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik baca dan catat. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan cara: (1) membaca keseluruhan data (2) mengklasifikasi data kepribadian (3) mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis data kepribadian (4) menginterpretasi hasil analisis data (5) menarik kesimpulan sementara mengenai kepribadian tokoh utama dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu. Hasil penelitian ini ditemukan 44 kutipan yang menyatakan ketidaksadaran tokoh Alina dalam novel Pukul Setengah Lima karya Rintik Sedu.
