Abstract

The research was conducted at Hangar C Balai Besar Kalibrasi Fasilitas Penerbangan. The research object was the standard time of the phase 1 inspection King Air B 200 series aircraft. The research used the stopwatch time study method with the Westinghouse rating instrument and the addition of allowance factors. Based on the research conducted, it was obtained the highest average data, the value was at the outboard wing section with the average time 1057.5 minutes and the lowest average time was at the operational check section with the average time 30 minutes. Futhermore, the average time data from observations using the Westinghouse rating method was processed then the normal time was found for each section of the process. By observing the adjustment factor (p) of the Westinghouse method, the highest normal time was gained at the outboard wing section, it was 1194.97 minutes and the lowest time at the operational check section was 33.9 minutes. After conducting the observations at hangar C, Balai Besar Kalibrasi Fasilitas Penerbangan (BBKFP) for the phase 1 inspection King Air B200 aircraft, it was obtained the allowance for each section of task card phase 1 inspection. The largest allowance value was at the engine cowling area and cabin section, it was 40.50% while the smallest allowance value was at the rear fuselage and empenage section, it was 22.50%. In order to get the standard time of the phase I inspection, it can be described from the normal time of each section on phase 1 inspection and the addition of the adjustment factor (p) and allowance. In addition, to get the total standard time of phase 1 inspection, it can be obtained by adding the standard time of each section. The total standard time of the inspection phase 1 was 6208.661 minutes or 103.5 hours.

Abstract

This research is conducted to obtain various gathered to be data analyzes and interpretations so that we can get a picture concerning the influence of leadership on the execution of officer promotion and its implication to officer motivation. The research method used is the descriptive survey method and survey of explanatory. The sample size is 100 officer people. The unit analyzes in this research is cross-sectional. The result of this research is leadership in PT. Telkom Kandatel South Jakarta in general goodness. The Officer promotion in PT. Telkom Kandatel South Jakarta, in general, is good enough. The administration affects officer promotion, the administration has an impact on officer motivation, and advertising affects officer motivation.

Abstract

Aircraft repair merupakan kompetensi yang diujikan untuk siswa SMK Penerbangan. Untuk meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMK Penerbangan Bina Dhirgantara dibutuhkan kesesuaian bahan ajar dengan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan oleh DKPPU. Kegiatan PKM ini dimaksudkan untuk menyelaraskan bahan ajar yang tersedia dengan kompetensi yang dipersyaratkan oleh DKPPU. Kegiatan pendampingan dilaksanakan secara offline dan online selama 3 hari. Hasilnya adalah pendampingan penyusunan bahan ajar teori aircraft repair untuk siswa SMK Bina Dhirgantara ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing lulusan SMK Penerbangan Bina Dhirgantara

Abstract

The sandwich composites consist of the main arrangement of core and skin, widely used in aircraft structures because they have superior strength and are lighter than aluminum. This study examines the effect of fiber orientation of sandwich composite panels with foam core in three specimens on tensile load. The skin consists of kevlar, fiberglass, and carbon with various fiber orientations and all specimens were tested using ASTM E8/E8M. From the tensile test results, specimen 1 showed the best material properties with an arrangement of 0o fiberglass, 90o fiberglass, 45o fiberglass, foam core, 45o kevlar, 90o carbon, and 0o fiberglass. Specimen 1 has the highest ultimate tensile strength value of 145.5 MPa, yield strength value of 108 MPa, elongation value of 2.5%, and fracture strength value of 2.56 MPa.

Abstract

In engine run practice, it can be simulated by using static bicycle wheel rotation to meet alternator rotation requirements. However, the limitation of human leg muscle to pedalling have not been able to reach the desired rpm. To achieve alternator rotation, design and developable mechanism of rotation is needed. Based on a few identification problems that will be the limitation of problem is how to design developable mechanism of static bike powered with output 2700 rpm. In this design, a knurling wheel with 60 mm of diameter diamond pattern knurling surface as the successor to the 660 mm diameter round bicycle wheel. The chosen gear is a straight gear where the driver gear is 120 mm of pitch diameter, the number of teeth is 60 and the driven gear is 60 mm of pitch diameter with the number of teeth is 30 as successor to knurling wheel. The shaft used is 20 mm of diameter with 7x7 dimention of spie. The bearings used are ball bearing type with bearing number 6004. For the belt and driver pulley, the designer chooses a type A number 35 of v belt with a length of circumference 889 mm belt and 127 mm diameter of driver pulley. The support of gear, driver pulley and alternator used S45C material with 343 N/mm2 of yield strength. From the results of calculations and designs that have been done, the tools are made to work well according to the designer's criteria. So, this design can be used to help increase the rotation of the bicycle wheel rotation.

Abstract

As one of the roles of universities in realizing Tridharma Higher Education, especially in the field of Aviation, The Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic is considered necessary to conduct socialization related to the Deepening of The Teaching Book of Electrical &Electronic Aircraft for Vocational Teachers of Aviation. This community service aims to provide knowledge, especially teachers in vocational schools related to the Book of Electrical Teaching &Amp; Electronics Aircraft it is because the readiness of teachers and teaching materials become the initial benchmark of the success of the student learning process and teaching. The current condition of many vocational school teachers is not a graduate of aviation vocational school, not a graduate of a campus that organizes education in the field of aviation, inexperienced in aircraft maintenance or even unlicensed aviation technicians. The results of this community service show that the knowledge in the field of aviation, mostly vocational school teachers in Semarang, Solo and Surakarta is still weak. Many still deliver teaching materials to students based on the search process on the internet page without understanding the basic philosifi of its functions and work. Especially for electrical materials and aircraft electronics, there is still a condition of teachers conveying the concept of electrical components and general electronics but have not been able to connect how the components function and work in the aircraft. PKM activities deepening the teaching book of Electrical &Electronic Systems aircraft in smk reopen the role of related parties in order to improve the quality of vocational school teachers in general in the field of aviation. Pkm activities are expected to be continued in a more structured form can be in the form of cooperation partners between vocational higher education institutions in the field of aviation and vocational education (vocational education at the intermediate level).
