Abstract

This study generally describes the ability of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Labuapi in identifying life values. This picture is taken from the results of the best practices of learning activities using project based learning methods. This research concludes several things. First, the activeness of students in learning is very high because most learning activities are responded to by all or most students. Second, almost all students have very good and good attitude or character. There were not even students who had bad behavior and only a few of them behaved well enough. For honesty, 87% of students (20 people) are very good and 13% (3 people) are good. For discipline 57% (13 people) are very good, 26% (6 people) are good, and 17% (4 people) are good enough. For responsibility attitude 83% (19 people) are very good, 8.5% (2 people) are good, and 8.5% (2 people) are good enough. Meanwhile, for socialist attitudes 52% (12 people) are very good, 39% (9 people) are good, and 8.5% (2 people) are good enough. Third, learning short stories by using Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models assisted by local or contextual teaching materials, can improve students' abilities in identifying life values in short stories, which is up to 83%. In this case, 19 out of 23 students completed / reached the KKM. Meanwhile, some things that can be recommended as a follow-up to the results of this activity are (1) teachers are advised to use the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model because it can increase student activity; and (2) teachers are advised to use material that is contextual or close to students' daily lives because it will be more quickly understood.

Abstract

The era of globalization, marked by rapid developments in information and technology, can shift the values that grow and develop within society. This shift in values presents a unique challenge in the increasingly complex world of education. This study aims to critically and in-depth explore and analyze the values that have grown, developed, and been embraced by the Bayan community within the Wetu Telu culture as the foundation for transformational Islamic education. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by data processing through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing mechanisms. This study found that within Wetu Telu culture, educational values are expressed symbolically in every traditional ceremony and ritual practice. These values align with Islamic teachings and educational ideals such as faith, morals, and worship. These values are actualized to foster a moderate and inclusive perspective. Educational values rooted in local cultural wisdom and integrated with Islamic teachings are relevant as foundations for transformational Islamic education in the current global era.

Abstract

Penelitian ini betujuan untuk mendeskripsikan refleksi sejarah PKI dalam Novel Tentang Kamu karya Tere Lie. Fokus pendeskripsiannya adalah fakta kemanusiaan dalam novel yang mencerminkan sejarah PKI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan teori strukturalisme genetik. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode telaah dokumen. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode struktural genetik. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, diketahui bahwa fakta kemanusiaan dalam novel Tentang Kamu karya Tere Liye yang mencerminkan sejarah PKI dominan berupa fakta sosial, yakni berupa hubungan sosial, ekonomi, dan politik. Dalam hal ini, ada yang berupa verbal dan ada pula yang berupa nonverbal. Disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Fakta sosial berupa hubungan sosial tercernin pada kisah penculikan dan pembantaian kiyai, keluarga kiyai, dan santri-santri pondok pesantrean oleh Musoh dan Latri karena ketidakpuasannya terhadap kebijakan kiayai Ma’sum, padahal sebelumnya mereka adalah orang kepercayaan kiyai Ma’sum; (2) Fakta sosial berupa hubungan ekonomi tercernin pada kisah pengaturan perekonomian pondok pesantren yang dijadikan alat untuk menghasut orang lain agar membenci pimpinan pondok pesantren dan melakukan pemberontakan; dan (3) Fakta sosial berupa hubungan politik tercernin pada kisah pergerakan faham komunis di Indonesia tahun 1948-1965, perebutan pengaruh dan kekuasaan anatar elit politik TNI dan PKI yang tak terkendali, dan penyebaran kata-kata/slogan kebencian oleh kelompok PKI.
