Abstract

The main firm’s goal according to theory of the firm is to increase owners’ by increasing theperformance of profit. The performance of profit the firm can be influenced by many factors,among them research and development intensity and advertising intensity. The purpose ofthis study was to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of R&D and advertising expense toto performance of profit. The population used in this study is manufacture company inIndonesian stock exchange during the period 2016-2018. The sampling technique usingpurposive sampling method and obtained sample 48 of manufacture company. The methodused is quantitative research method. For the method of data analysis using multiple linearregression analysis. As for data processing using IBM SPSS 23.0 The results showed R&Dexpense didnt have affect on performance of profit. Abstract

The digital era has brought significant transformations in human life. The use of technology in the digital era is increasingly widespread in various sectors such as education, economy, health, agriculture and government. For santri in Indonesia, who are the digital native generation, the challenges of the digital era have a special impact. This research aims to discuss the challenges faced by santri in the digital era and focuses on the abilities that santri must have to be able to compete in the digital era. The study shows that challenges arise in the form of unequal access and use of technology, digital content that is not in accordance with religious norms, customs and decency, interference with worship, and threats to personal security and privacy. To be able to adapt to technological advances in the digital era, santri must have competencies such as digital literacy, creativity, adaptability, visionary and integrity. In addition, choosing the right educational institution and mastering foreign languages are significant factors. With adequate knowledge and skills, santri will be able to face competition in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the peer tutoring approach in improving student learning outcomes and motivation in Islamic Education learning at SD Negeri Lapahan Buaya. This study used a quasi-experimental design, involving an experimental group that participated in peer tutoring sessions and a control group that participated in traditional lecture-based teaching methods. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, student motivation survey, classroom observation, and student feedback. The results showed a significant increase in learning outcomes, where students in the experimental group showed better ability in remembering and applying Islamic teachings compared to the control group. In addition, the peer tutoring approach also had a positive effect on student motivation, as seen from increased participation, enthusiasm, and self-confidence in learning. Students expressed a preference for peer tutoring sessions, citing clearer explanations and more engaging learning experiences. These findings suggest that peer tutoring is an effective method in improving student learning outcomes and engagement in Islamic Education. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the peer tutoring approach be integrated into the Islamic Education curriculum to create a collaborative and student-centered learning environment.
